Lorenzo's POV
I was close to shifting. I could feel the rage in my wolf and the sudden energy radiating through my veins. I didn't need to look around. Golf Palace was already empty. No one would dare to witness a fight between two giant Alpha Wolves. Not even Damon, who stood at the entrance of the club, fidgety, waiting for the right time to escape.
But I didn't let that happen. I couldn't. Not when I'd actually started the fight. Or when Lucian was looking to make a fool of me. The little ruby wasn't worth an iota of my attention, much less my wrath.
"Let's get out of here Damon," I finally said, letting out a long stream of breath to release my anger. "I shouldn't wreck a million-dollar investment because of a loser."
