The nation of Greymount was ruled by the Imperial family named the Solstrider family.
Under them were 5 Duchy's and the rest followed. As it was the case for any empire there was a group of rebels trying to overthrow the king and his family.
The rebel group was special as it was not trying to throw over the human kingdom but also the demon and the elves. It was one large group of falsely led sociopaths brainwashed to obey the leaders for the rest of their life.
It was a cult. It's name was Tenebrae.
Sebastian now faced a familar man. A man he had fought 13 years ago and defeated but spared alive to show mercy.
The scar on the man's eye being a symbol of that defeat. They were in an open field.
"Sebastian, finally finally I will make you pay for the humiliation and shame you put me through. Acting all high and mighty and forgiving others. I wonder how your kid and wife would react on seeing your face departed from your body."
"Was it necessary to massacare the entire village to hunt for me?"
"Anything to make you die. You still remain the biggest obstacle in our grand plans. The sword of the Empire will fall today.
He was armed with a Rapier, it was red with blood. He had a sinister smile across his face as he dashed to attack Sebastian.
Around 40 cloaked people were heading towards their fight. Mages as well as swordsman.It was being done in an open ground.
"Mother, Elena's crying."
"Hold on just a little longer, we have almost escaped from the village. Just a little longer."
'I only hope your father is okay'
Ellie had taken down 50 members of Tenebrae and the fatigue was catching up to her. Those who had come early had been taken care of easily but gradually stronger people started attacking.
They were appearing from everywhere.
Aldrich frustrated finally bombarded all the questions he was having.
"Who are these people? Why are they killing everyone? What do they want?
Will dad be okay?"
Upon hearing her son Ellie explained to her son that they were bad people who wanted to take over the village. To distract him she explained him the way warrior were of the world divided based on power.

8. Magus Legendary- Sebastain is at this realm
9. Ascendant
10.Pinnacle- Ipsissimus
Nobody had reached the Ipsissimus realm for the last 800 years but there were records of certain individuals.
The people who had attained the Ascendant realm could be counted on one hand. She also told him that her father was the youngest Magnus legendary swordsman in the entire history of the world.

This brought about many more questions to the young boy. How was his dad so strong. If he was so strong why was he hiding. Even his mother was very strong. That explained the one shot cutting trees but live in a village. Hidden from the world.

Aldrich was in shock as if he could have a grandfather. 'He must be a Baron.'
"You never even mentioned I had a Grandfather. What's his name?"
"My father's name is Tyr Roseate, current head of the Roseate family."
"And fathe"- suddenly a water needle grazed his left cheek. It was the Tenebrae.
"Get behind me." Aldrich was quick to follow and immediately got behind his mother.
She aimed a fireball at the elf.
She shot it at the elf.

The fireballed burned his chest and he flew off crashing into a nearby tree. His eyes were blodshot.
He fainted.
Two men fighting. One fell to the ground. A sword impaled to his stomach. The other one had lost and arm while trying to fight. It was a very violent battle. He was bathed in blood. His expression grim. Around him lay corpses covered in blood,Slashed, beheaded, burned, some knocked unconscious.He was about to relax when he felt a presence and then a voice.
The same old man who was being called Lord has arrived with more people.
"Truly one of the Strongest Swordsman of Greymount. Such a pity these will be your final moments. Only if you could have joined us."
"Hahaha join you! Till I die, I will protect the Nation."
"Fine, if that is what you wish. Get him."
Taking a deep breath Sebastian got ready for what was about to come. He was fired up. The mages had cast curses on him, he was poisoned due to which he cut off his arm. It truly felt like these were his last moments but-
Elena had fallen asleep in her brothers arm.
Sleeping soundly unknown to the horrors happening. Sebastian was fighting in the north. They were exiting through the west towards the mainland.
They were about to enter the forest when a ring on Ellie hand burst into pieces. She was shocked and did not know what to do.The bursting of the ring meant that Sebastian was heavily injured or was on the brink of death.
She was faced with the choice of leaving her husband behind or hiding her children and going back and rescue him.
After a while with a heavy heart and sorrow in her face she told her son to hide.
"If I do not return within a certain time period then leave this place. Head towards the mailand and you will reach the Guild Association. Tell them your Grandfathers name. You will find your Grandfather there. Give this to him on finding him."
She handed him the pendant she was wearing. Take care of Elena if we do not return. She had tears in her eyes.
"You have to return. Please."
Tears welled up in his eyes. Looking at her daughter sleeping she gave a sigh of relief She cast a spell on her children and went back. She had cast a spell which would conceal their location for some time.
"Do not come back following me ,ok?"
Aldrich hid behind a huge tree and awaited his mother's return.
She moved towards the north of the village.
There was not a single meber of the cult in sight.
Most of them who had attacked the village had been killed or lay unconscious. The ones who were alive were attacking Sebastian.
Ellie passed through the village, on her way she saw her house had burnt to the ground,
in the middle of the town lay a huge pile of bodies. She sped on her way to Sebastian praying for him to be okay.
Upon reaching the open area she was heartbroken and felt her entire world crashing to pieces.
