The organization had a few instructors stationed there, mostly high initiates, who were willing to help the new ones out. She already knew the fundamentals of hand-to-hand combat thanks to Thorne's training, so she mostly sparred with them directly. She lost more often than not, but every bruise was a lesson learned.
When she wasn't throwing a punch, she was in the weapon range where she could practice with her labrys freely.
Kiah had set several goals for herself before the next mission. Beyond improving her physical strength, she wanted to understand her weapon's newfound ability and strengthen the bond she shared with it.
