After drinking some potions, Sean barely opened his eyes and immediately said to Snape, "Professor, go protect Harry. If the Death Eaters controlling Karkaroff have any objective, it can only be Harry. He's in danger!"
"Can you manage on your own?"
"I'm fine, Professor. I have specialised potions on me."
"Alright, I understand!"
Snape immediately stood and rushed from the Chamber.
Sean retrieved another potion from his Undetectable Extension Bag. After the last promotion meeting ended, Sean had asked Gavin for the formula for those eye drop potions. Now it seemed this habit of always being prepared was proving invaluable.
Scull watched Sean, his expression shifting. He finally realised Sean's ability.
"You can see the future? You can predict the future?"
Ignoring Scull, Sean continued using the medicine to restore his mobility as quickly as possible.
Seeing that Sean had no intention of answering him, Scull gritted his teeth and clawed at the ground, trying to crawl forward. Although he knew his current self couldn't do anything, it was precisely because of this—having already despaired of himself—that Scull only wanted to bite off at least one piece of Sean's flesh. Even just one piece would be better than doing nothing.
However, just as Scull reached toward Sean, Sean suddenly opened his eyes and grabbed Scull's extended hand. With slight pressure, Scull's hand bones, weakened by the toxic torment, shattered inch by inch.
"Ahhh..."
Clutching his hand, Scull howled in pain.
Sean stood, having no intention of dealing with him further, and left the Chamber.
Exiting the Chamber, just as Sean was preparing to go to Gryffindor Tower to find Harry, he saw Snape hurrying down from above.
"Professor, what happened?"
Snape's expression was grim. Seeing Sean, he immediately said, "Karkaroff has abducted Harry!"
"When did this happen?"
"Not too long ago!"
Hearing this, Sean was just about to give chase when he heard Dumbledore's voice from below, amplified with Sonorus: "Sean! Come to me immediately!"
Without hesitation, Sean vaulted over the railing. Under the watch of approaching professors and house prefects, Sean jumped directly from the stairs without even slowing down. He landed with a resounding impact, then strode quickly toward Dumbledore standing at the main entrance.
Seeing Sean arrive, Dumbledore said directly, "Although I promised Minerva not to assign you tasks, the current situation is urgent. You can fly—go pursue Karkaroff directly and try to delay them as much as possible. I'll be there right away!"
"Understood!"
Sean had nothing to hide now. Black smoke rose and wrapped around him, suddenly bursting out of Hogwarts castle and soaring into the night sky.
Professor McGonagall and Snape arrived at that moment.
Dumbledore looked at them and immediately instructed, "Severus, go to the Ministry and report to Scrimgeour and Amelia that Harry has been abducted by Karkaroff. Minerva, Hogwarts is now in your hands. You must stabilise the situation and prevent panic. Also contact Beauxbatons's Madame Maxime, tell her what happened, and seek her help."
Dumbledore turned to look above Hogwarts and shouted loudly, "Fawkes!"
"Kree-ah!"
A high-pitched bird cry rang out.
The phoenix Fawkes descended from above, landing over Dumbledore's head. Its golden-red wings flapped, and flames instantly enveloped them both, disappearing from the spot.
Meanwhile, Sean flew through the sky, following the magical trace—Karkaroff was ahead.
Both Sean and Dumbledore had overlooked a crucial issue. Although Voldemort's Death Eaters had schemed to make Sean a Triwizard Tournament champion, as the only person who had killed Voldemort, Harry Potter remained Voldemort's most wanted and primary target.
Sean and Dumbledore had been thinking about how to flush out those Death Eaters, but they had neglected Harry's protection!
Sean knew Dumbledore had gone to find Order of the Phoenix members, so his objective was simply to delay Karkaroff and any other Death Eaters who might be present. This was also a perfect opportunity to test spiritual sight's effectiveness in combat and see what these Death Eaters were made of!
The black smoke accelerated, streaking across the sky like a comet.
Soon he spotted Karkaroff ahead. The man's speed was impressive—he was almost beyond Hogwarts' boundaries. Once they left Hogwarts, they could use Apparition, and reclaiming Harry would become exponentially more difficult.
The black smoke descended rapidly, crashing down before Karkaroff in an explosion of darkness.
Karkaroff held the unconscious Harry in one hand, standing in place as he looked at Sean. He couldn't help but sigh. "Though I expected someone would catch up quickly, I didn't think it would be this fast."
Sean studied him carefully. He had Karkaroff's body and used Karkaroff's voice, but Sean was certain this wasn't Karkaroff. "Who are you?"
"I'm Karkaroff. Isn't this obvious? Or do you suspect I used Polyjuice Potion?"
"You didn't use Polyjuice Potion, and you are indeed using Karkaroff's body, but you're not Karkaroff."
"I'm even more curious about you now. Unfortunately, Dumbledore and the Order of the Phoenix will arrive soon. I don't have extra time to waste with you."
As the Karkaroff imposter finished speaking, a figure suddenly materialised behind Sean, raising their wand to cast a spell.
Without any warning, a blue-white halo flared behind Sean, completely deflecting the incoming Stunning Spell. Then Sean raised his hand and swept his wand in a wide arc. Streams of electricity poured forth, forming a brilliant ring that suddenly expanded in all directions.
Thunder and Lightning!
Crack!
Electric currents spread outward in a blinding web of light, forcing the figure to retreat while Karkaroff also quickly backed away with Harry.
Turning to look at the retreating figure, Sean raised an eyebrow slightly.
"A leopard can't change its spots, can it, Corban Yaxley?"
"Sean Bulstrode, you cannot stop the tide. Surrender now!"
