People walking fast, several workers carrying luggage and carry-ons, filled the airport's atmosphere, painting it with its usual chaotic essence. Old women complained because they wanted to change their seats, and young people grumbled because they couldn't find the right gate for their plane. Linda, however, was heading outside, pulling her trolley as she searched for a taxi. Her eyes sharp and his gaze focused as if chasing for a prize.
She had only taken a few steps before a car, brand new, pitch-black, started following her. She was considering whether to start running, call the police or simply ignore it, when the window was rolled down and a familirar voice started yelling at her.
"Linda! Want me to take you?"
Lucian had his big annoying smile as usual, pressing his lips together as in to mock Linda because of her surprised look.
