Even before Lin Xuan crossed over into this world, the full roster of Roger's Pirate Crew had never been fully revealed in the One Piece story. The known members included the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger; his right-hand man, Silvers Rayleigh; Spark Jabba; Seagull; the apprentice crew members, Red-Haired Shanks and Buggy the Clown; the ship's doctor, Crocus; the late lord of the Kozuki family from Wano, Kozuki Oden; and the "Demon Heir," Douglas Bullet.
Now, on this chaotic battlefield, Roger, Rayleigh, Shanks, and Buggy were already gathered. As for the others, Lin Xuan had no clue where Spark Jabba or Seagull were. Douglas Bullet, he recalled, was locked away in Impel Down, the deep-sea prison. Whether Bullet had escaped during the chaos Luffy and his crew caused was uncertain, but since he wasn't here, Lin Xuan figured he probably didn't want to get involved.
As for Crocus, the ship's doctor, Lin Xuan knew he was currently stationed at Twin Cape, tending to the lighthouse. And by a stroke of luck, Lin Xuan also knew that Tobirama Senju was near Twin Cape at this very moment!
Without hesitation, he used his interdimensional communication to contact Tobirama, instructing him to send a Flying Thunder God kunai via a red envelope and to bring Crocus along. Tobirama moved swiftly. Barely a moment after Lin Xuan's order, he appeared with Crocus in tow.
Crocus, the old man, looked utterly bewildered, having been whisked away by Tobirama without warning. His confusion only deepened when he saw Roger, Rayleigh, Shanks, and Buggy standing on the battlefield.
What in the world was going on? Was he dreaming? A reunion of Roger's Pirate Crew, twenty-two years after their disbandment?
Lin Xuan didn't bother explaining. He ordered Obito Uchiha to quietly transport Crocus to the battlefield. But just as Crocus was sent off, Lin Xuan noticed Tobirama's reanimated body starting to crumble. The intense battles at the Sabaody Archipelago, combined with his recent global travels and now a long-range Flying Thunder God technique, had pushed the reanimated body to its limit.
Seeing this, Lin Xuan said, "Rest for a bit. I'll bring you back with another reanimation later."
Tobirama was speechless. Rest for a bit? What kind of nonsense was that? Still, he didn't argue. His soul detached from the sacrificial body, which promptly turned into a tree right there on the warship.
Meanwhile, Crocus, who had just been dropped onto the battlefield by Obito, finally reunited with Roger and the others. With five members of Roger's Pirate Crew now together, it almost felt like a true reunion.
Lin Xuan, watching from afar, grinned as his reputation points spiked again. Since the war began, he hadn't even lifted a finger, yet he'd already racked up over 400 million points. Not bad at all.
But the battlefield itself was far less cheerful.
The reappearance of Roger's Pirate Crew was a monumental event, not just for the World Government but for Whitebeard's crew as well. For the World Government, it was a catastrophic signal. Worse, they still couldn't figure out how things had spiraled to this point. Some noticed that Roger didn't quite look like a living person—his state seemed eerily similar to the reanimated fighters from the Ninja Guild.
Before they could piece together Roger's connection to the Ninja Guild, Roger, brimming with excitement, rallied his crew. "Alright, brothers, let's move! We'll save Ace, then catch up over drinks!"
He was blissfully unaware that, in his current state, he couldn't even drink.
What he didn't expect was that his words would spark anger—not from the World Government, but from Ace himself. Ace, who had been in a daze since Roger's appearance, snapped awake and shouted furiously, "Don't act like you're my savior! I don't need you! My old man will save me!"
The battlefield fell silent for a moment.
Then—
"Pfft! Hahaha!" Shanks burst out laughing, turning to Roger. "Captain, looks like your son's not too fond of you. Seems he's got a real bone to pick!"
Roger, unfazed, waved it off. "What's the big deal? Kids go through rebellious phases. Once we save him, a good smack will sort him out."
Ace was speechless. The crowd around them was equally dumbfounded. Was this the Pirate King's logic? Was his way of thinking really that bizarre?
Before anyone could process Roger's words, Whitebeard let out a booming laugh. "Kurararara! Roger, you old bastard, you haven't changed a bit after all these years! But listen up—Ace is my son now, and I'll be the one to save him. We don't need you butting in!"
Roger turned to Whitebeard, flashing a grin. "Newgate, you looking for a fight? I'm grateful you've looked after my boy all these years, but if you want to throw down, I won't hold back!"
Whitebeard snorted. "A fight? You think I'm scared of you?"
The tension between the two legends crackled, threatening to erupt into chaos.
Sengoku, Garp, and the others stared in disbelief. Hold on—you're both here to save Ace, aren't you? Why are you about to start fighting each other?
The Navy and World Government forces, already stunned, were now outright furious at being so blatantly ignored. To have these two pirate crews bickering like this in the heart of Marine Headquarters was an insult they couldn't stomach. Snapping out of their daze, the World Government's powerhouses launched a frenzied assault on their enemies.
If they let these pirates turn Marine Headquarters into their personal battleground, the Navy's pride would be utterly shattered.
