"Huh?" Kadaru froze, about to berate the Marines for their nonsense, when a violent gust slammed into him.

A massive claw swiped down, sending Kadaru flying.

The wolf, split in two, had not only survived but multiplied into two separate beasts!
This was the "Amplified Summoning" technique, a ninja art that allowed summoned creatures to split upon attack or divide at will. In this world, Nagato couldn't summon his original beasts.
