With the deaths of Momoshiki and his two companions, the incident on the moon was finally resolved. Killer B had a significant amount of his chakra drained, leaving him physically exhausted but not in any danger. Soon after, Toneri Ōtsutsuki and his clansmen were liberated.
Before long, Lin Xuan led everyone back to the ground. The brothers Hamura Ōtsutsuki and Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki tried to persuade them to stay, offering to host them, but the moon was hardly a pleasant place to linger. Lin Xuan politely declined.
Upon returning to the ninja world, Kakashi Hatake, Gaara, and the others learned that the crisis had been resolved. They all breathed sighs of relief and expressed their gratitude to Lin Xuan.
With the danger gone, everyone finally relaxed.
Lin Xuan led the group straight back to Konohagakure. This time, he didn't immediately leave the Naruto world; instead, he planned to stay in the ninja realm for a while longer.
During this period, Kushina, as a mother, stayed at the hospital to care for her son, Naruto Uzumaki, as if trying to make up for lost time. She refused to leave his side for a moment.
Minato Namikaze was much the same, though he also found time to have a long talk with his student, Kakashi.
Kakashi mainly asked Minato about his father, Sakumo Hatake, as well as Obito Uchiha and Rin Nohara. When he learned that his father had grown much stronger in the afterlife and had found his own path in the way of the sword, Kakashi felt a deep sense of relief.
Although he had long since moved past the shadow of his father's suicide, thanks in part to Obito and Rin's help, that event had always remained a source of regret and guilt in his heart. Countless times, he had wondered if he had only understood his father's struggles back then, perhaps his father wouldn't have made that choice.
Now, knowing that his father had started a new and exciting life in another world, Kakashi gradually let go of that burden.
*So this is fine too,* he thought, a smile spreading across his face.
But when Minato brought up Obito's situation, Kakashi couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy. That guy Obito, in another world, not only reunited with his sensei and Rin but also seemed to have stolen the spotlight. His sensei even said Obito was incredibly strong now.
"How enviable," Kakashi murmured, unable to hide his feelings.
It was his honest thought. He even entertained the idea of dumping the Hokage position on Naruto, then killing himself to follow Lin Xuan to another world.
Of course, it was just a fleeting thought. But if he ever did die for real, it wouldn't be a bad choice.
As for Jiraiya, he had already vanished back on the ground, off to gather material for his next novel.
Aside from them, after Lin Xuan and the others dealt with Momoshiki, everyone else went about their own business.
Rukia Kuchiki didn't immediately return to the Soul Society after the battle ended. Instead, she followed Lin Xuan and the others to the ninja world. She was intensely curious about everything around her.
Having witnessed the various jutsu of the ninja world, she found them fascinating. So, during this time, she roamed around the Naruto world, experiencing every aspect of this strange realm. She even exchanged blows and had conversations with people, gaining a wealth of experience.
And so, time passed peacefully.
Finally, one day, Lin Xuan summoned Minato Namikaze, Itachi Uchiha, Konan, and Rukia Kuchiki back.
Once everyone was assembled, Lin Xuan got straight to the point. "I called you all here because I'm planning to take you to another world for a visit. Are you interested?"
Everyone had grown accustomed to Lin Xuan's ability to travel between worlds. Among the group, only Rukia still looked surprised.
"President, which world do you plan to take us to?" Itachi asked.
They had already seen the worlds of One Piece and Dragon Ball. Those worlds had amazed them and brought them significant gains. So, hearing that Lin Xuan wanted to take them to a new world, everyone felt a sense of anticipation.
What kind of incredible world would the President take them to this time?
Lin Xuan looked at their eager expressions and smiled.
Then, his gaze fell on Rukia Kuchiki. "This time, the world I'm taking you to is Rukia Kuchiki's homeland."
"Huh?" Rukia was stunned, frozen in place.
The others were also surprised, and they all turned to look at Rukia.
By now, they had all gotten to know Rukia fairly well. Through their conversations, they had learned about the nature of her world. Everyone was particularly interested in her unique methods of attacking souls.
