As Mel approached the Northern Gate to the Noble District, where the Mochi shop lay, she faced a unique dilemma.
Within the sunset, at a paved path surrounded by grasslands on both sides, Rosana and Lila had begun their version of tug-a-war.
"As-I-said."
Lila pouted to Rosana while hugging her left arm firmly.
"If you're so flimsy with my Mel, you might as well leave us alone in the first place."
Rosana merely smiled while loosely clasping Mel's arm.
"I don't seem to recall or make any demands for my Mel here."
The Heiress tilted her head.
"And if I recall correctly, you've had your temper tantrum in the Embervale, no? As well as occupying Mel there for more than a week?"
"Hic!" Lila hiccuped, then paused.
"Wait..." Scowling, she pointed at Rosana. "How do you know we're in Embervale that time?! We didn't tell you anything!"
"Ah..." Rosana's eyes curved delightfully. "So you two were in Embervale. Care to explain what you've done?"
"Like I will tell you!"
