Joanna Ramsey's voice was calm and steady, even a bit chilly.
Bella Green looked completely baffled.
"What wedding?"
Observing Bella Green's bewildered expression, Joanna Ramsey blinked and felt a bit suspicious.
Didn't Fiona Grantham say that she and Victor Bennett were getting engaged?
Suddenly, she recalled that Fiona Grantham seemed to have gone to prison.
She chuckled softly, thinking she had been foolish; Fiona Grantham going to prison probably halted the wedding.
"Nothing," she shook her head.
Seeing Joanna Ramsey didn't want to discuss Victor Bennett, Bella Green didn't continue the topic.
"Find some time to invite Laura White's brother out for a meal," Bella Green suggested.
No matter what, Bella Green felt she had to check out the man Joanna Ramsey was going to marry.
Laura White, munching on potato chips, suddenly looked up, tomato sauce all over her mouth.
