Herbert chuckled softly and looked back at the "self" in the mirror. Only a few breaths had passed since Nenasha first spoke.
The reflection in the mirror still frowned, staring at Herbert outside the mirror, and asked in a deep voice, "What did you just say? Who are you talking to?"
Oh?
Upon hearing this, Herbert raised an eyebrow and asked playfully, "So, you can't see?"
As Herbert expected, the reflection in the mirror was unaware of Nenasha's existence; there was no mention of Her presence in his narrative.
In the ultimate test, all that Herbert could accomplish was attributed to his own talents, rather than divine assistance.
But what Herbert didn't expect was that this one sentence... was addressed to all three individuals present.
Mirror's Reflection: "Can't see, what are you talking about? What am I supposed to see?"
Nenasha: ["I can't see, oh~"]
Lukalia: Huh? What am I supposed to see?
All three believed they were being spoken to individually.
