The breakfast at Xinxing Agricultural Science College today was delivered from the college canteen dormitory and consisted of Huokui biscuits and corn porridge.
Huokui biscuits are a type of bread, crispy and fragrant when freshly baked, but once they cool down, they become hard and chewy, and one of either your jaw or the biscuit is destined to meet its end.
To combat the durability of Huokui biscuits, the school provided students with corn porridge.
If students had never seen the light of day, they would never spend hundreds on delivery fees.
But next door, where there are delicacies like abalone, sea cucumber, and shark fin, and a simmering fish head hotpot, truly pushes the limits for students in other dorms, so much so that even with the original intention for observation activity, they've been driven to order takeout.
The observation activity at the College of Agriculture, in a sense, can be seen as a private booking.
