The old-style building is six stories high without an elevator, directly connecting to the hallways, with two households per floor.
This architectural layout simplified the procedure for Hu Xiaodong and the others tremendously.
Holding a knife, Hua Biao led the way, followed closely by Duan Chengwu and Huo Yuankai, while Hu Xiaodong stayed at the back to handle emergencies. The four of them were advancing gradually towards the rooftop.
As expected, the hallways had zombies wandering idly, though their number was not large, and with the survivor's current combat strength, solving them was hardly a challenge.
The only trouble was inspecting each room, after all, the environment inside apartments was much more complex than the building.
Light, obstacles, even the size of the rooms influenced the survivor's inspection.
Fortunately, not many doors in the building were wide open; as for those tightly shut, the Survivor Squad decided to ignore them.
