Go Biqing quickly explained: "She left, she's definitely not my girlfriend, just an ordinary friend."
Li Mei seemed indifferent as she responded and then left, leaving Go Biqing unclear about what Li Mei meant.
After Li Mei left, Go Biqing returned to his room, which didn't even have a chair, so he had no choice but to lie on the bed. He had a late lunch because he was busy with Gwen's matters in the afternoon, and wasn't hungry yet. Out of boredom, Go Biqing decided to browse the internet on his phone.
He lost track of time while surfing the web, and when he snapped back to reality, he realized it was already seven in the evening. He replaced his phone's battery, placing the depleted one on a universal charger to charge and prepared to go out to eat. Just as he opened the door, Go Biqing saw a few employees occasionally coming in, unexpectedly discovering that the company had a night shift, which explained the provision of two meals.
