Wait a minute, Mason stayed the night with her; when did he have time to make the dough rise?
Mason laughed softly at her puzzled face, "The dumplings are from downstairs, the millet porridge I cooked this morning."
Last night she caught a chill, and drinking millet porridge warms the stomach.

Remembering something, she paused mid-drink and looked up at Mason, "The paparazzi know my apartment address; you went downstairs to get porridge..."
