"Hi, beautiful, still remember me?" The man's deep blue eyes fixed on her, carrying a hint of mystery. His cheeks were slightly sunken, his face the typical sharp Western angles. There was a faint smile at the corner of his mouth, yet he somehow didn't look like he was actually smiling.
Those deep-set eyes locked onto her, as if locking onto prey, a playful smile in them.
Aurelia Shaw's brows knit together.
She felt she'd seen this man somewhere before, but couldn't recall where.
Not that it was strange she didn't remember. Yesterday she'd been rushing to meet Mason Nightshade; she hadn't even seen clearly the faces of those three blocking her way, just wanted to get it over with quickly.
On top of that, Robert hadn't said a single word, just stood there with zero presence. It'd be odd if she did remember him.
Aurelia assumed he was someone from the theater, arched a brow. "Doesn't ring a bell."
Her tone was light, carrying a sense of distance.
