Aurelia put on her hat, its wide brim hiding half of her face as she pushed the shopping cart forward.
The cashier's attention was fully captured by the TV hanging on the wall. Absentmindedly scanning all the items, they said to Aurelia, "That'll be 236 yuan in total."
Aurelia pulled out her wallet.
The cashier gave Aurelia a second glance, but the hat was too large to see her face clearly. They didn't continue to look and heard a colleague shout, "The emperor is here!", making the cashier immediately fixate back on the TV.
Aurelia shook her head helplessly, feeling amused and pleased.
After paying the bill and carrying the things out, her phone suddenly rang.
She looked down to see it was Mason Nightshade.
"Hello, what's up?"
What's up? Mason heard the woman's lukewarm voice, raised an eyebrow. He was thinking about her all the time, didn't she think about him at all? And she said she wanted to pursue him, but the woman showed no initiative in chasing him.
