"Hmm?" Mason Nightshade raised his voice slightly as he noticed Iris Cooper's silence, clearly unwilling to cut her any slack.
The President and Mason wouldn't have heard what she said earlier, right? Iris Cooper's face turned pale as she secretly observed Mason Nightshade and Adrian Cooper's expressions, but their cold, icy demeanors gave nothing away about their thoughts.
"Hmm?" Mason asked again.
"Of-Of course I'm qualified," Iris Cooper knew she couldn't avoid it any longer, so she forced a smile and replied.
Mason's lips curved into a mocking smile, and his gaze toward Aurelia Shaw softened instantly. "Here to see me?"
Though that wasn't originally the case, Aurelia couldn't admit she was there to get information from Ava. She pondered for a moment and nodded. "But I didn't expect to run into another woman here."
