She swung the snake-shaped dagger, its cold light shimmering, stabbing toward the twisted, writhing shadow. Clang, the dagger sank into the wall to its hilt, yet the shadow remained unharmed, even emitting a mocking chuckle.
The shadow wasn't wrong.
