Chapter 609 - Super Fusion Collision!!

RUMBLE, RUMBLE...

Lightning struck wildly. Yet in this sealed space, everything, lightning and all, had turned red, like blood slowly flowing across the world.

The Goddess of Despair's figure fully solidified. Though not physically present, some powerful force allowed her to appear as if she were there.

The legendary "Supreme King" and the Fusion duelist she had observed in the Synchro Dimension.

How interesting. Would such people fall into "despair"?

If they too could despair, how powerful would they become?

A horned demon shook its countless skeletal wings, leisurely observing this duel that was quite beneficial even for it.

Meanwhile, Hikaru wasn't despairing, but he did have quite a headache.

He reviewed the Supreme King's board.

Masked HERO Dark Law, Elemental HERO Neos, Evil HERO Malicious Bane, Evil HERO Toxic Bubble. Four whole monsters. Genuinely headache-inducing.

The most troublesome was undoubtedly Dark Law.

As long as Dark Law was on the field, whenever Hikaru added cards from his Deck to his hand outside the Draw Phase, Dark Law would randomly banish one card from his hand. Absolutely vicious.

Even worse, with Dark Law present, cards Hikaru sent to the Graveyard wouldn't go there but would be banished instead!

In other words, Hikaru's earlier Shaddoll Fusion milling two cards for free would now be equivalent to suicide.

Of course, it wasn't entirely "suicide."

Cards like Thunder Dragonhawk that activated when banished could still be useful.

But as a tradeoff, Hikaru couldn't force the Supreme King to use Super Polymerization by milling Shaddoll Dragon through Shaddoll Fusion.

This infamous Masked HERO Dark Law bore the nickname "Friendship Ender." Even before Hikaru came to this world, it was already quite formidable as an "end piece."

Factor in the Supreme King's Neos Lord, and his board was even more secure.

Not much worse than DPE plus Bloo-D!

Under these complex emotions, Hikaru drew a card. He looked down and suddenly froze.

Who are you?

He was confused at first, then quickly began reading the card's effects.

Why his Deck contained a card that shouldn't exist was something he couldn't think about right now. Compared to such "minor issues," the duel was more important.

An unfamiliar card.

Like the Masked HEROes, a card he had no memory of.

Tierra studied it for a long time alongside him. Neither could make sense of it. They exchanged glances but had no choice.

"In any case..."

"During the Standby Phase, Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer's effect from last turn activates! Special Summon!"

The undying phoenix spread its wings once more, appearing at Hikaru's side.

"And then?" The Supreme King challenged directly. "What next?"

"Predaplant Chimerafflesia's effect!"

This was a critically serious question!

Chimerafflesia's effect: during the Standby Phase of the turn after it was sent to the Graveyard, add one "Fusion" Spell from the Deck to hand!

But!

As long as Dark Law was on the field, once per turn, when Hikaru added a card from his Deck to his hand, Dark Law could randomly banish one card from his hand!

If Hikaru added Super Polymerization to his hand, and it happened to be banished by Dark Law, what then?!

Tierra didn't dare speak, didn't even dare breathe. In the crimson light, her mouth was dry. She felt as though Hikaru's life was rapidly draining away, making her increasingly uneasy, increasingly tense.

"Then, immediately after DPE's Special Summon, I activate DPE's effect! I destroy one card I control and one card my opponent controls!"

Without hesitation, Hikaru unhesitatingly activated DPE's effect.

DPE's effect destroyed one card on each side. Even if Super Polymerization was chained to fuse it into some HERO monster, as long as the effect resolved, he could destroy his own Vicious Claws and the opponent's Dark Law. Then he could use Chimerafflesia's effect to add Super Polymerization to his hand.

"Flip Set card!" Likewise, the Supreme King knew this perfectly well!

"Trap Card: Dark Supremacy! I negate your Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer's effect!"

As expected!

A second copy!

Such a simple, efficient card. Hikaru was certain the Supreme King wouldn't run just one. Finding Dark Supremacy among the new Set cards was entirely predictable.

So...

"Quick-Play Spell: Duality!" Hikaru activated the new Spell almost without hesitation. "I Tribute one LIGHT or DARK monster I control. I Special Summon one LIGHT or DARK monster with the same original Type and Level but different Attribute from my hand or Extra Deck!"

"I Tribute Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer!"

The never-extinguishing flames on DPE slowly faded. The dark fire gradually dissolved into particles of light.

Even the immortal phoenix would eventually leave due to personal circumstances. This departure would likely be permanent.

"To destroy Dark Law, you're willing to banish the undying phoenix? Interesting... But I activate the Quick-Play Spell: Form Change!"

Hikaru raised an eyebrow.

Form Change.

Meaning the last card was Super Polymerization!

He hadn't expected the Supreme King to burn through his defenses this quickly!

"Form Change's effect: I return my Level 8 DARK HERO Fusion Monster Malicious Bane to the Deck. From the Extra Deck, I Special Summon a Masked HERO with the same Level but different name, treated as if summoned by Mask Change."

"I return Malicious Bane to the Deck. Special Summon: Level 8, Masked HERO Atom."

Masked HERO Atom. Level 8, FIRE Attribute, Warrior-Type. ATK 2600.

If Furnace looked like "Iron Man," Atom was the very definition of a high-tech hero. Its equipment was so elaborate it was dizzying.

"Then, I Tribute Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer to Special Summon Level 8: Gilti-Gearfried the Magical Steel Knight."

The steel knight swung the battle axe on its right arm and appeared dashingly.

Gilti-Gearfried the Magical Steel Knight. Level 8, LIGHT Attribute, Warrior-Type. ATK 2700.

"Dark Supremacy loses its target, so its activation is negated." Hikaru pointed at Dark Law. "Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer's effect: I destroy my Vicious Claws and your Dark Law!"

Though banished to the endless darkness beyond this isolated space, the undying flame still burned fiercely, setting everything in this crimson space ablaze.

Moments later, both cards exploded simultaneously and vanished.

"Oh!"

"Brilliant!"

"Terrifying... so this is what excellent duelists are like?"

The observing entities were speechless after watching this chain of plays.

Though the chain itself was simple and direct, one thing was critical: this wasn't the Main Phase or Battle Phase. It was the Standby Phase!

The main confrontation hadn't even begun, yet everything had already erupted!

Seeing the monster dealt with, Hikaru exhaled. "Predaplant Chimerafflesia's effect. I add one Fusion Spell from my Deck to my hand."

"Wait."

Unexpectedly, the Supreme King raised his hand. "I chain your activation. I also have an effect to activate."

What?

Him too?

Could it be...

Hikaru looked at Atom.

Another monster whose effects he didn't know!

"Atom's effect: when this card is Special Summoned, I target one non-FIRE Masked HERO in my Graveyard or banished zone. I Special Summon that monster in Defense Position ignoring Summoning conditions!"

This was bad.

Hikaru's expression changed.

"Ohhh!!"

"He can revive Dark Law?"

"Interesting! Keep going, Supreme King! Mutual destruction would be best! Everyone dying would be perfect!"

Some entities not under the attention of the most fully-formed "projections" let out bloodthirsty cheers. They seemed affected by the red light, emitting shrill shrieks.

"What are you doing?!"

In the mental world, Jaden saw this and was furious beyond words.

Anyone could see that in this crimson, increasingly bizarre space, the duel's outcome could lead to terrifying consequences.

Yet the Supreme King was escalating even further.

At this rate, either Hikaru or the Supreme King would face "life or death"!

That was something Jaden didn't want to see!

But the Supreme King didn't care about his outcry. As always, he replied calmly: "The one who survives to the end is justice."

"...But you're already dead!"

Jaden spoke with a low voice.

That catchphrase the Supreme King always wore on his lips... wasn't it also his own "regret"?

The Supreme King's perpetual calm finally cracked, showing a flash of surprise.

Then, as if finally satisfied, he slightly raised his brow.

He slowly closed his eyes and appeared in the mental world, facing Jaden directly.

"It seems you finally understand." The Supreme King said casually.

Jaden's eyes slowly glowed gold. In this crimson world, his eyes looked especially terrifying. "...I won't repeat the same mistakes!"

He met the Supreme King's gaze with unwavering resolve.

"Duality... Hikaru really played a great card."

"And precisely because of that, I won't give up this duel that's made my blood boil for the first time in so long!"

Jaden clenched his fist.

Yes.

If it were him, he wouldn't give up either!

Then he would share some of his power with Hikaru!

Meanwhile, on the field, the previously destroyed monster reappeared.

Masked HERO Dark Law. Level 6, DARK Attribute, Warrior-Type. DEF 1800.

"Now, choose your Spell."

Hikaru frowned and opened his Deck, deliberating.

He could directly add Super Polymerization. Since it was a Quick-Play Spell, after adding it, although Dark Law's effect would trigger, he could chain Super Polymerization in response.

But...

DARK, FIRE, LIGHT, WATER. Hikaru's Garura, Wings of Resonant Life could at most fuse Neos and Gilti-Gearfried.

At that point, he would have to discard a hand card (which would be banished), then have another randomly banished. If the wrong card was banished, the situation would become extremely dangerous.

After all, the Supreme King also had Super Polymerization Set. Using his Super Polymerization first in this "Super Polymerization civil war" would leave him at a severe disadvantage!

So...

Hikaru deliberated at length.

Better to take a step back.

"I add the Equip Spell Re-Fusion to my hand."

Using Re-Fusion to revive Magnum from the Graveyard would let him draw cards. And even if it was banished...

"Hmph, you didn't choose Super Polymerization? Then it's over!" The Supreme King shouted. "Dark Law's effect: once per turn, when my opponent adds cards from the Deck to the hand outside the Draw Phase, I randomly banish one card from their hand!"

Dark Law's head arrow and body devices lit up with golden light. A golden arrow shot from its wrist, piercing straight through Hikaru's hand.

Re-Fusion!

"Phew... that was close!" Tierra sighed with relief. "Thank goodness he didn't take Super Polymerization..."

Hikaru slowly inhaled and looked at the opponent's field.

Headache.

Dark Law, Super Polymerization, and the unknown Atom.

But this was fine!

He smiled. "Incredible. Truly incredible, Supreme King. As expected of someone who once ruled countless dimensions!"

The Supreme King showed neither joy nor sorrow. Such praise meant nothing to him. Still, he spoke: "Pleasantries are meaningless. However, coming from you, the modern era's finest Fusion duelist, I accept your praise."

"But if this is where it ends, this duel would be far too disappointing."

Hikaru chuckled. "True... I activate the Graveyard effect of Invocation. I return it to my Deck and add the banished Aleister the Invoker to my hand!"

A card rose from the Graveyard and flew into Hikaru's Deck. Then Aleister landed in his hand.

"Next, Normal Summon: Aleister the Invoker!"

"I add Invocation from my Deck to my hand."

The Supreme King nodded, making no move.

As a Super Polymerization duelist, losing without Super Polymerization wasn't a big deal. Besides, right now, Hikaru's cards couldn't break through anyway.

"Now, time to use this card's effect." Hikaru looked at his hand with interest. "If I'm not mistaken... Supreme King, you've also gained some cards that don't belong to you, right?"

Hearing this, the Supreme King gave a slight nod of acknowledgment.

"A brand-new card represents new possibilities, the footsteps of the future. And now, my future unfolds once more.

I discard Spenta, the Magistus Sealer from my hand!"

A card Hikaru had never seen before, one that suddenly appeared in his Deck, pushed this already thrilling duel even further.

Dark Law fired two shots, blasting Sphen's card out of this "dimension." But Hikaru didn't care.

"Through its effect, I add one Magistus monster other than Sphen from my Deck to my hand!"

"Magistus... Aleister's predecessor?" The Supreme King naturally knew this. Because of that, he immediately understood the origin of Hikaru's new cards.

Hikaru spread his entire Deck open, scanning the remaining cards while calculating, his lips curling slightly.

Just as he thought!

Cards that shouldn't exist!

"I add Crowley, the Gifted Magistus to my hand!"

Though called "Magistus," it could also be called "Crowley, the Gifted Great Sage."

"Crowley, the Gifted Magistus's effect: when this card is added to my hand by a method other than drawing, I Special Summon it!"

Stars began orbiting. The principles of all things and the universe appeared in this mage's eyes.

Crowley, the Gifted Magistus. Level 4, DARK Attribute, Spellcaster-Type. ATK 1800.

"Crowley's effect: when this card is Special Summoned, I Fusion Summon one Magistus or Invoked Fusion Monster using monsters from my hand and field as materials!

Furthermore, while this face-up card is used as Fusion Material, its name can be treated as Aleister the Invoker!"

"A dual identity as both Magistus and Invoker?"

"I see, it's also a monster that can be used for Fusion!"

"But even fusing, can he do anything against the Supreme King?"

"Whether Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, or Light and Dark Invoked monsters, none seem to trouble the Supreme King at all."

No.

In the mental world, Jaden suddenly recalled a card. One buried deep in his memory.

Naturally...

The Supreme King knew that card too!

"Invoked... Augoeides?" The Supreme King pondered briefly. "Fusion conditions: Aleister plus a Fusion Monster. Upon summoning, it destroys one monster card on the field. I see, a direct Special Summon?

No, if it were just that, why Normal Summon..."

The Supreme King thought for a moment, then understood.

Crowley's effect performed a physical Fusion using hand and field monsters. Right now, Hikaru's field had two "Aleisters." So...

Was he trying to force the Supreme King to use Super Polymerization?

"Interesting... Fine, Hikaru. Let's see then."

He suddenly raised his hand. "I discard Necro Gardna from my hand. Flip Set card!"

"Release the ultimate power!"

"Witness the ultimate force born from the darkness within!"

A terrifying black vortex appeared directly above the space. Every entity drawn here by Fusion's power shut their mouths, greedily and madly watching the ultimate darkness.

"Quick-Play Spell: Super Polymerization, activate!"

"No monster, Spell, or Trap effects can be activated in response to this card's activation!

I fuse one monster I control with one monster my opponent controls, ignoring Summoning conditions, to Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster!"

CRACKLE...

The space began tilting. The "seats" provided for visitors became unstable. Weaker entities were ejected outright. Only those powerful enough, perhaps rivaling Super Polymerization itself, remained in this space, anticipating the duel's continuation.

"Fusion conditions: Neos, or a Fusion Monster mentioning Neos, plus one Effect Monster on the field. I use your Gilti-Gearfried the Magical Steel Knight as Fusion Material!"

Lightning struck the Magical Steel Knight from above. Without regard for its will, it was forcibly seized and converted into boundless dark power, flowing into the Supreme King's Neos.

"This requires Dark Fusion to Fusion Summon. But under Super Polymerization's absolutely invincible power, even that condition is ignored!"

This was the absolute power unique to the Supreme King's Super Polymerization!

The power to ignore conditions!

The power of absolute domination!

"Watch closely!"

"Witness the absolute power that leads my victory!"

"Ruler of heroes, enforce justice with the power of darkness!"

"Appear!"

"Fusion Summon!"

"Evil HERO Neos Lord!"

Pitch-black armor appeared on Neos once more. But this time, the terrifying lightning was even more intense. Crimson light seemed to fuse into its body. The overwhelming pressure even left some entities here breathless.

"So this is Super Polymerization? It seems destroying humanity still requires human hands."

"Observing up close, it truly makes one salivate. If this power were used for despair, what kind of flower would bloom?"

"The power of domination. Not bad. It seems the Super Polymerization derived from my Super Xyz Evolution still falls far short..."

The remaining "great entities" said nothing aloud, but watching Super Polymerization activate, these stable, undissipated presences in the space still felt awe.

Evil HERO Neos Lord. Level 10, DARK Attribute, Fiend-Type. ATK 2500.

Crackle...

The terrifying overlord, surrounded by countless "heroes," gazed down at Hikaru like a king.

"...I have no monsters to Fuse. Fusion fails." Hikaru glanced at his two Aleisters on field, but wasn't worried.

"Cards and monsters are finite." The Supreme King spoke slowly. "Your Extra Deck should contain several Frightfurs, four or five El Shaddolls, Thunder Dragon, Ice Prison Dragon, Magnum, Phoenix Enforcer, Gilti-Gearfried, Predaplant Chimerafflesia, two or three Invoked, one Garura... Card slots are quite tight. If I'm not mistaken...

Your Extra Deck doesn't seem to have a Fusion Dragon."

And that wasn't all.

Hikaru's cards were still being continuously banished by Dark Law's effect.

Because the Supreme King had sent Necro Gardna to the Graveyard, even if Hikaru used Shaddoll Fusion to suicidally banish a Shaddoll and LIGHT monster, using Construct to destroy Dark Law would be difficult.

After several rounds of recycling, the Supreme King's resources weren't ideal but were still better than Hikaru's constant "card burning."

With DPE also banished, Hikaru couldn't use even a single destruction effect next turn.

Of course, Hikaru could activate Invocation now, banish Aleister and any Fusion Monster from the Graveyard, Fusion Summon Augoeides, and destroy Dark Law.

That would let him successfully use Shaddoll Fusion without banishing cards... but then Neos Lord would immediately steal a monster.

Even worse, banishing Aleister to summon Mechaba, then using Shaddoll Fusion for Construct and attacking Dark Law with Construct wouldn't work either. Mechaba's cost was "send 1 card from your hand to the GY," and with Dark Law present, it couldn't negate Graveyard monster effects.

He could ram Mechaba into Dark Law to at least remove it.

But then...

It would be the Supreme King's turn again!

He wouldn't give Hikaru another turn to wait!

The three remaining "great entities" silently analyzed Hikaru's position and unanimously reached one conclusion.

Right now, Hikaru couldn't win!

But...

In the crimson light, Hikaru appeared exceptionally calm. More calm than usual, even. More clear-headed!

He looked at Neos Lord and smiled. "Supreme King, indeed, this locks down my normal Fusion. But precisely because of Dark Law's presence, Neos Lord can't activate its effect either, except when Special Summoned!"

The Supreme King said nothing, didn't argue.

Neos Lord's effect triggered on Fusion Summon or when an opponent's monster was sent to the Graveyard.

But with Dark Law present, Hikaru's cards would be banished instead.

Meaning they had locked each other's effects!

"Spell Card: Frightfur Patchwork. I add Polymerization and Edge Imp Chain from my Deck to my hand."

"I activate last turn's Thunder Dragon Fusion's Graveyard effect: I add Thunder Dragonroar from my Deck to my hand!"

"I discard Thunder Dragon from my hand to add another Thunder Dragon to my hand!"

"Spell Card: Shaddoll Fusion! I send Shaddoll Dragon and Thunder Dragonhawk from my Deck as Fusion Materials, meaning they're banished. Fusion Summon! El Shaddoll Construct!"

The Supreme King frowned slightly.

This was...

The observing "great entities" also sensed something was off.

This scene... felt familiar.

"I see!" In the mental world, Jaden cheered excitedly.

He understood!

If searching couldn't succeed...

Then draw!

The simplest, most direct thing every duelist excelled at: drawing cards!

"Thunder Dragonhawk's effect: when this card is banished, I return any number of cards from my hand to the Deck. Then I draw cards equal to the number returned!"

"Construct's effect: I send Shaddoll Falco from my Deck to the Graveyard!"

With that...

Hikaru raised a fistful of cards in his right hand, keeping only Invocation.

A mass of cards was shuffled into the Deck, which began rapidly shuffling.

The so-called "great entities" had abandoned all speculation, simply watching Hikaru's Deck.

"Draw!"

WHOOSH!

Hikaru drew multiple cards at once.

Purple light streaked through the air, even adding a different hue to this purely red world.

But!

Nothing!

Hikaru looked at his hand.

"Ha."

"Pitiful. Time to despair."

"Not enough power? Strange."

The Supreme King silently looked at the top of Hikaru's Deck.

He could feel it.

"One card short. A shame."

He meant it.

Genuinely.

"No, it's not short!" Tierra pumped her fist excitedly.

?

The Supreme King looked at her.

"Duality's Graveyard effect: I return one LIGHT and one DARK monster from my Graveyard to the Deck. Shuffle the Deck, then draw one card. I choose... El Shaddoll Winda and Magnum the Reliever!"

The Supreme King slowly widened his golden eyes.

One last... gamble?

No.

One final destined draw!

A true duelist could even create draws!

"Yes! Go, Hikaru!" In the mental world, Jaden cheered wildly.

He felt as though he were right there on the field, right beside Hikaru.

Hikaru could feel it too. Jaden's power, that dark power, supporting him.

"Draw!"

Hikaru looked at the drawn card.

There it was!

Quick-Play Spell: Super Polymerization!

Thump, thump. Thump, thump.

Hikaru felt his heart pounding violently.

His pure Fusion power seemed to be slowly gaining new strength, new possibilities, a new future.

"Discard Keeper of Dragon Magic from my hand, activate Quick-Play Spell — Super Polymerization!"

The vast clouds above the sky swelled larger still.

Endless power surged outward, bursting open, tearing apart the high-rises, tearing apart the air, tearing apart space itself.

Within this crimson space, even the silhouettes of those three "great beings" began to warp.

The three exchanged a glance, and each saw their own astonishment mirrored in the others.

And then…

In this world of pure crimson, two lights seemed to flare to life.

One, the pure white that symbolized Hikari Amagi. The other, the deep black that symbolized the Supreme King, that symbolized Judai.

"Quick-Play Spell, Super Polymerization. Neither player can activate cards or effects in response to this card's activation. Discard one card to activate. Use any number of monsters on my field or my opponent's field as Fusion Material, and Fusion Summon one Fusion Monster!"

He clenched his fist, and the two opposing forces began to converge.

"Fusion Material — two Masked HERO monsters!"

"One soul guides the light. One soul guides the darkness."

"In a duel pushed to the absolute limit, feel a new kind of power…"

"Bipolar hero!"

"Contrast HERO Chaos!"

Two spheres of light merged into one. Then, layer upon layer, black and white armor assembled itself, and there stood a hero both noble and cold, both impulsive and composed, balance made flesh.

Contrast HERO Chaos. Level 9. DARK. Warrior. 3000 ATK.

"Cont… rast? Chaos?" The Supreme King looked at the monster, and the corner of his mouth curved upward.

Not bad.

Compared to his own life, his own answer, his own wrongheaded path, this stance that was neither black nor white — how beautiful it was.

"While this card is in the Monster Zone, it is also treated as LIGHT."

"Spell Card, Invocation. Banish the first Thunder Dragonroar in my graveyard and the Aleister the Invoker on my field, and Fusion Summon Invoked Mechaba."

The time to close had come.

The Supreme King's field, once swollen with endless armies, looked like it would swallow the world whole. Now only the Neos Wiseman that guarded him with unbroken loyalty remained, and his most reliable Evil HERO Toxic Bubble.

A solitary king.

And on Hikari Amagi's field stood friends, a mentor, a kindred soul, and the full weight of gifted possibility…

"Battle. Crowley, the Gifted Magistus attacks Evil HERO Toxic Bubble."

"El Shaddoll Construct attacks Neos Wiseman."

"Neos Wiseman cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects!"

"Contrast HERO Chaos can negate the effect of one card on the field. This is a Quick Effect, so I can activate it during my opponent's turn as well."

"Then I banish Necro Gardna from my graveyard to negate this attack."

"I discard Thunder Dragonmatrix to activate Mechaba's effect, negate Necro Gardna's effect, and banish it!"

"Hahaha. Interesting. A clash this fierce — it has been far too long." The corner of the Supreme King's mouth lifted.

He had not duelled in earnest for so long, and yet here was a Fusion duelist of the new age who could meet him head-on in a heated exchange like this and overcome him. By no means inferior.

No.

That was the wrong word.

Excellent.

And excellent in a way that seemed to promise no one would ever stumble onto the mistakes he had once made.

"Counterattack, Neos Wiseman. Ultimate Penetration!"

"Then I'll—" Hikari Amagi had not yet finished speaking when, from beside him, Tierra directed El Shaddoll Construct herself, sending her into battle with Neos Wiseman as if to repay the theft of long ago. "Shadow Plunder Reversal!"

The two monsters met in midair, neither giving an inch. Neos Wiseman strained with everything it had to shield its sovereign, yet stripped of its effect, no matter how great its strength, it could no longer defeat the so-called "lesser" monster it had once looked down upon. In the end, it fell with bitter reluctance, and the curtain came down on it.

And at the last…

"Contrast HERO Chaos attacks directly."

The crimson world was sliced clean in two by a single beam. Then one half filled with black and the other with white.

At the centre of both worlds the purple light grew ever stronger, blinding as a flashbulb in the dark of night.

No attack name. No roar. No curse. No complaint. The duelist of the old days had long since stopped caring how the present world ran, yet this strike — at once warm and cold, brimming with hope and yet laced with despair — drew from him a rare, faint smile.

The one who survives to the end is justice!

He, who had perished long ago in his uprising, what right did he have to speak of "justice"?
