"Summer" film set.
It wasn't her turn to film yet, so Luna Durant clutched the script in one hand and her phone in the other. She glanced at her lines, then at her phone, restlessly awaiting Pedro Langley's reply.
But, there was still no message.
"Miss Luna."
The assistant called back, pursed her lips and, with a pale face, explained to Luna Durant, "The butler said you can take back what you sent, but those at home…"
Pausing, the assistant, under Luna Durant's suddenly changing gaze, braced herself and whispered, "No way."
"Why not?" Luna Durant abruptly stood up, her entire face instantly darkening, "The family's goal...isn't those few mechanical pieces! They're useless anyway, aren't they just ornaments at home?"
"They are still useful." The assistant quietly said, glancing around to make sure no one was paying attention before continuing, "Master Sliver's works are now invaluable, the existing ones can be used to curry favor."
