Chapter 404 - Chapter 405: The Creator

Chapter 405: The Creator

[Then you began to recite the fourteen secret words once again.]

[Stairway to Heaven, Forbidden Fruit, Ruined Street, Forbidden Fruit, Jordan, Crown of Thorns, Forbidden Fruit, Singularity, Jodio, Dragon, Wisteria, Forbidden Fruit, Singularity, Pope…]

[If each secret word were a gear, then every one you spoke was like fitting another cog into the intricate machine that was the World. Time began to accelerate… The World Over Heaven!]

[But at that very moment, the Joker once again tried to stop you. He unleashed Killer Queen's Withering Heart Attack — a toy tank shaped like a cat's skull flew through the air toward you… Yet now, no Stand ability could possibly harm you anymore. In a sense, you were already a god.]

[It was useless! You only gave him a cold glance — and at once, he and his cat-like Stand were suspended in midair, frozen and motionless.]

[Even so, he kept babbling on: "You must be wondering why I'm doing this, huh? Truth is, I don't know either. I'm just a dog that chases cars — I've got no idea what to do when I actually catch one. But whenever I see someone about to succeed, I just have to do something, or it feels like I've lost a couple hundred million dollars…"]

[His rambling cut off abruptly. For the first time, shock filled his eyes — only ten minutes ago, it hadn't even been eleven at night, and now dawn had already broken.]

[You paid him no mind. Raising your wrist, you glanced at your watch — both the hour and second hands were spinning wildly, circling in an instant. Then you extended your right hand; in your palm rested an arrow.]

[I'll say it again — time is about to accelerate.]

[You loosened your grip. Under your Stand's power, the arrow disintegrated midair and dissolved into the atmosphere. You firmly believed that, in the future of this new universe, a new power capable of creating Stands might arise.]

[Then, everyone on Earth witnessed the most terrifying sight imaginable — a sunrise every three minutes, followed by a sunset three minutes later. Eventually, it was sunrise and sunset with every passing thought. Humanity aged at a terrifying speed, and those who might have stopped you — Superman, the Flash — no longer existed in this world.]

[As time's rotation quickened, it reached the singularity in an instant. A radiant white light emerged in the sky, expanding rapidly until you could no longer see anything. You spread your arms toward that blinding light, and your Stand, The World Over Heaven, mirrored you exactly, its expression fervent: "Everyone, listen carefully — we march together toward the new world!"]

[The clock hands began to slow. When the white light finally faded and your vision returned, the Joker and Batman had vanished. You were no longer at Cape Canaveral Air Force Base but standing above a vast, rolling ocean. In other words, you had truly created an entirely new universe — leading humanity to Heaven. You could only wonder what the Joker and Batman had seen before they disappeared.]

[In the years that followed, you did little — nor did you wish to. Having completely triumphed over fate, you only wanted to rest.]

[For a long time afterward, you simply observed this new world as a bystander, all while adjusting to your evolved Stand.]

[In the world you personally created, Superman still existed — but as an infant, when his spacecraft landed on Earth, he was captured by the U.S. military and imprisoned in a base, forever teetering on the edge of corruption.]

[Barry Allen was no longer the Flash. In this world, his name was Barrett Allen — an ordinary farmer with no Speed Force, though it seemed he had awakened a new Stand ability.]

[Your trusted subordinate, Jonathan Crane — the Scarecrow — was no longer mocked as a child. In this world, under the name Jonathan Brooke, he grew up in a decent family and became a successful dentist, comfortably part of the upper class.]

[Peyton Riley, who once possessed the goddess Bastet, became an elementary school teacher in this new universe, living a relatively peaceful life.]

[As for the Joker, who betrayed you, he received his due punishment. Now he had become the very thing he once despised — a superhero named "Joker-Man." Just like his counterpart in the main world, he had fallen into a vat of acid, his skin bleached white, hair turned green, and grin forever bright. Yet his misfortune did not twist his heart. On the contrary, he was inspired — donning a vivid purple suit, he declared himself Joker-Man and fought against the forces of darkness.]

[Your dearest friend Batman, too, fulfilled his wish. In the new world, he was a German-American named Bruce Sweetliander Wayne — nicknamed "Stweil." His parents were alive, his personality no longer brooding or withdrawn. Yet his drive to help others, to act as a hero, remained unchanged. He still became a superhero, ever at war with evil.]

[Your other followers varied — some successful, some ordinary, some heroes, some villains. Some awakened Stands; others relied on mutation or technology. But through it all, you remained certain of one truth: destiny's inevitability. Should you ever seek to rebuild a dark empire, these same people would inevitably gather around you once more.]

[This world teemed with superpowered beings — heroes and villains alike. The power systems were chaotic and diverse: Stands, superpowers, mutations…]

[Overall, you were satisfied with this new universe — though something still felt missing. You pondered for nearly a year before finally realizing what it was.]

[As mentioned before, your Stand's abilities allowed you to accelerate or slow time for the entire world, and to stop time across the universe for up to nineteen seconds. Beyond that, it could also rewrite reality itself.]

[Rewriting reality consumed immense soul energy and required physical contact through your Stand's fists to overlay the new truth upon the old. After a moment's hesitation, you chose to follow your heart. You drew several individuals from a parallel space and merged them into this new world through reality rewriting.]

[In Liverpool, England, a young man named Jonathan Joestar opened his eyes, preparing to head to school. On the wall, a Stone Mask hung in plain sight.]

[And in the countryside near Liverpool, a golden-haired young man named Zhou Ning lived with his elderly mother. He seemed to possess some sort of Stand ability.]

[You had created a new "main world." This main world would be recorded as a Hidden Map, and when drawn, it would automatically convert into a Plus Map, yielding double rewards. (You have obtained the Milestone: The Creator.)]
