Chapter 366 - Tang San's Wrath, Kill!

The convoy entered the city gate and slowly drove towards the city center.

Inside the Shrek Academy carriage, several students opened the windows, curiously looking at the Spirit City.

"Is this Spirit City? It doesn't seem that great, not as lively as Heaven Dou City." Ma Hongjun said with a sneer.

"It's not as lively as Heaven Dou City, and judging by the size of this city, it's not as big as Heaven Dou City either." Oscar said.

Tang San frowned and said, "Have you noticed that there are so many Spirit Masters in Spirit City? In Heaven Dou City, most are ordinary people, but the proportion of Spirit Masters in Spirit City is much higher than in Heaven Dou City." "

Moreover, as soon as I entered Spirit City, I felt a faint but imposing atmosphere. This Spirit City... is not simple!"

"Little San is right, I also felt an imposing atmosphere." Dai Mubai said.

Flander chuckled, "Your intuitions are correct. Although Spirit City may not seem as bustling and prosperous as Heaven Dou City, it is, after all, the headquarters of the Spirit Hall, gathering the largest number of Title Douluo on the Douluo Continent. How could it be simple?"

Zhao Wuji added, "That's right. I visited Spirit City when I was young. The standard of living in Spirit City is arguably the highest on the entire continent. Even in the bustling Heaven Dou City, there are poor people. But in Spirit City, you almost never see any impoverished people."

Just as Zhao Wuji finished speaking, Ma Hongjun shouted, pointing to the roadside outside the window.

"Teacher Zhao, Spirit City isn't as good as you say. There are even beggars here!"

Hearing Ma Hongjun's words, Zhao Wuji opened the car door and looked ahead, seeing the disheveled beggar leaning against the roadside.

Zhao Wuji frowned but remained silent.

Liu Erlong smiled, "Wuji, you haven't been to Spirit City for many years. It's normal for things to change. Don't be surprised."

  Zhao Wuji nodded.

Tang San saw the beggar's figure and, for some reason, felt a sense of familiarity.

"Strange." He shook his head, looked away, and continued to observe the city.

In the distance, Grandmaster saw the Shrek Academy members looking at him and became even more agitated.

But seeing Liu Erlong and the others quickly look away, he was incredibly disappointed, realizing they hadn't recognized him.

His heart pounded, and he grew increasingly tense.

"Calm down, calm down, I have no strength left. I must call for help when they get closer," Grandmaster kept reminding himself.

Finally, after three carriages, the Shrek Academy carriage approached.

Grandmaster could already see the people inside through the carriage windows and doors.

He took a deep breath, used all his strength, and hoarsely shouted, "Little San, save me!"

After shouting this, he had no more strength left.

Tang San, who was gazing at the majestic mountain in the distance, shuddered and abruptly turned his head towards the direction from which the sound came.

There, a disheveled beggar sat in a pile of garbage, his weary eyes fixed on him.

The beggar's lips trembled, as if he wanted to say something, but no sound came out.

Liu Erlong, hearing the master's hoarse voice, paused, then looked at the beggar with an incredulous expression.

Suddenly, she shuddered and shouted, "Xiao Gang!"

Her voice was heart-wrenching, and as she shouted, she jumped off the carriage.

Flander and the others were all stunned, watching Liu Erlong jump off the carriage.

Tang San was the second to react; his eyes flashed with shock when Liu Erlong shouted, and he followed her down.

"Stop the car! Stop the car right now!" Flander roared frantically, jumping down as well.

The shout from Shrek Academy alerted the entire caravan, and more than a dozen carriages stopped, everyone inside casting astonished glances.

Liu Erlong and Tang San rushed to a spot a few meters away from the master.

The surrounding area was filled with all sorts of rotting garbage, emitting a strong stench.     In the center of the garbage heap, the beggar's face was covered in a black substance, his eyes were cloudy, and he was on the verge of death, seemingly about to breathe his last.

At this moment, upon closer inspection, Liu Erlong and Tang San finally confirmed the Grandmaster's identity.

Although the Grandmaster's face was covered in filth, how could the two of them, as his closest confidants, not recognize him?

"Er...Erlong, Xiao San," the Grandmaster weakly called out.

"Xiao Gang!" Liu Erlong cried out in anguish, her face already streaked with tears, rushing towards the Grandmaster.

"Teacher!" Tang San also rushed forward.

Flander, who had just gotten out of the car, witnessed this scene. His expression was urgent, and he and several teachers followed Tang San and Liu Erlong.

Liu Erlong threw herself at Master, hugging him tightly and crying, "Xiao Gang, it really is you! Who the hell did this to you? Waaaaah..."

Tang San stood beside Master, his fists clenched tightly, tears streaming down his face, but his eyes blazing with terrifying killing intent.

"Teacher, whoever did this to you, I, Tang San, swear I will grind them to dust!" Tang San vowed fiercely in his heart.

His teacher had left halfway through, and now he was here, tortured like this.

Master was like a father to Tang San, and seeing his master's miserable state, a surge of anger erupted within him, wishing he could tear the murderer to pieces.

Dai Mubai, Ma Hongjun, and the others were stunned, staring blankly at the scene after getting off the carriage.

This filthy, seemingly dying beggar was actually Master!

They stood by the garbage heap, not following him.

Ma Hongjun frowned and muttered under his breath, "It stinks."

"Shut up if you don't want to die!" Dai Mubai hissed. He sensed the killing intent emanating from Tang San and knew that Tang San really wanted to kill someone.

Ma Hongjun quickly shut up and dared not speak again.

"Don't hug me, I'm dirty," Grandmaster said weakly.

Liu Erlong didn't care about that and still held Grandmaster tightly.

Flander was calmer and hurriedly said, "Quickly heal Xiao Gang."

A teacher with a healing spirit immediately released his spirit to heal Grandmaster.

Just then, a loud shout came from not far away: "Insolence!"

The Shrek Academy members turned to look and saw two guardian knights striding towards them.

"No one is allowed to heal him. You'd better leave now, or don't blame us for being impolite!" Before they even got close, one of the knights shouted.

At that moment, Tang San's eyes flashed with ferocity, and with a swift movement, he darted towards the two approaching knights.

"Die!" Tang San's voice was icy cold as he charged forward, launching his attack.

Several Dragon Beard Needles shot from under his fingernails, their speed so fast that the two knights couldn't react in time.

The two knights hadn't expected Tang San's sudden attack, and given the close proximity, the small size and high speed of the needles made them almost invisible to the naked eye, making them difficult to dodge.

They felt a sharp pain as the needles pierced their bodies, causing them to curl up in a ball inside.

"Little San, no!" Zhao Wuji shouted anxiously, but it was too late; the two knights collapsed limply.

He recognized them—they were the Guardian Knights of the Papal Palace.

Tang San had killed Guardian Knights as soon as he arrived in Spirit City, and Zhao Wuji was extremely anxious.

This was the Spirit Hall's stronghold; would killing Spirit Hall members here end well?

At that moment, the thought of escaping Spirit City with the Shrek Seven Devils immediately formed in Zhao Wuji's mind.
