Nerrisa was the first one to finally speak, and for once the shock was completely clear upon her face. Her platinum eyes were widened as she stared at Eirvanna, almost as if she genuinely wondered whether she had heard those words correctly. The other Regents weren't much better. Several had turned toward each other with stunned expressions, some remaining completely frozen upon their thrones while others looked back toward Eirvanna as if waiting for her to correct herself.
After all, two gods were dead. Just that sentence alone was enough to shake the entire world, but these weren't even some forgotten gods with barely any worshippers remaining. The Sun God and the God of Light were among the most prominent and revered divine beings in existence. The Sun God had worshippers scattered across countless kingdoms, races and lands, while the God of Light stood even above that in mortal influence.
