Sir Richard held his sword in front of him, assessing Kai as they both walked around each other in a circle. He was scanning Kai to see if he had any openings or to defend if he struck first, but not only did he not find any openings, Kai didn't attack first.
'He's not even in a fighting stance, and I can't see any openings! T-This means that he's extremely strong. I guess I can't hold back against him, huh?' Richard increased his power, shocking everyone around them.
"The captain is giving this his all?"
"Whoa, I've never seen the captain this serious unless we're fighting a real battle."
"D-Does this mean Kai is that strong?" Beryl asked rhetorically.
'I see it, an opening!' Richard charged in, swinging his sword at Kai's chest. The slash wouldn't kill him, of course, but it was an attack that would take him out right away.
Richard smirked. 'I got him now!'
