[Rosie's POV]
I was anxious, watching him steam up the stew and then return to hand it over to me while I sat, innocently like I didn't start a conversation that pissed him off.
"Which one of your mates caused that?" He asked even before I could lift up a spoon and I flickered my eyes at him, swallowing.
"Mates?" I asked confused as I reached out for the spoon, choking on my words.
"Damien or Austin?" He pressed on with no emotion in his tone as I took his seat opposite me.
My shoulders jumped as I bared my eyes at him. He literally knows everything about me but him...All I know is that he's a businessman or maybe a secret thug or mafia.
But he's not a werewolf, he's just a human.
My eyes were on the bowl of soup, scanning it like I needed an answer before drinking the soup and anticipating his next reply.
"Austin," I replied in a shaky tone, and even my hands trembled as I dug the spoon into the soup, ready to take a bite.
"Why haven't you told your boyfriend yet?"
