Viltramites, a highly advanced militaristic species of superhumanoids native to the planet Viltrum, constantly seeking to expand their galactic empire by conquering other planets.
Viltramites were cruel, merciless, and unforgiving, willing to achieve conquest through any means, and with their attention already set on planet Earth, preparations needed to be made.
Noah, having been preparing for years, sat behind the holographic interface before him, his fingers scrolling and swiping through plans. He was refining his plans, counters, and defenses against Nolan's upcoming rampage.
He couldn't allow anything to happen to the planet, especially with his presence likely having caused changes in the timelines. Because of his presence, a lot of threats could go out of proportion. Maybe because of his presence Nolan would kill Mark in their one-sided battle. Another Viltramite could show.
Even Mark going rogue was possible, he had long been preparing for several of these outcomes, but time was not on his side, the preparations he made so far would likely only buy time. Whether it was the highly advanced robot he created, equipped with anti-gravity technology granting advanced flight maneuverability, energy shielding for proper defense, laser weapons for attack, and even a sonic weapon with the exact frequency needed to affect Viltramites' inner eye, he had it all.
But at the end of the day, they wouldn't amount to much, not only were Viltramites incredibly fast, their durability and tenacity were something else. So much that they could fight with their organs hanging out of their body.
His robots' attacks would likely be dodged or shrugged off like it was nothing. But it didn't mean they were useless. In large numbers, they could potentially be used to hold back a Viltramite, at least temporarily. If used strategically, it could be useful.
Besides, highly advanced robots weren't his only fallbacks. He had Kaiju bio-weapons, perhaps his most secretive projects. Toothless was a product of his first few projects, and like most of his operations, he started with setbacks, Toothless was one of them.
But now, with his current expertise, proper Kaiju weapons could be produced. And just like the original, they could give a Viltramite a proper challenge for some rounds.
And if all else fails, he doubted a Viltramite could handle a nuclear-level explosion to the face without critical damage. The only reason it wasn't originally feasible was speed. They could likely escape the explosion radius in an instant, but it was a problem he could solve.
Now at the training site, Noah underwent harsh training. In an open space, Noah stood in his usual outfit, complete black with flickering lights, it constantly gathered live data measuring his progress and improvements.
"Initiate, phase one," Noah said, the basic artificial intelligence capturing his voice. Under the command, the open and empty space before him began to change, warping to fit the training he wanted to undergo.
Turrets carrying flat rounds popped from the wall, obstacles of different shapes and forms rose from the floor. The entire area transformed, fit for training his hypermotility and his absurd senses.
With the abilities Noah had, he was no longer limited to the natural five senses, not only did extrasensory perception boost his natural senses to absurd heights, he was capable of visually sensing space without external input, even with his eyes closed he would still be capable of sight.
But it didn't stop there, the telekinetic sense he practiced had started to bear fruit, and lately, frequency manipulation was starting to bud another sense. The vibrations in the air, the minute changes around him, and so much more he could pick up. And this was without mentioning the danger sense that was starting to form as extrasensory perception progressed.
To put it short, his senses at this time were beyond absurd. "Crank it up to the max," Noah commanded.
The white light illuminating the space warped to red, the turrets whining with a sharp hum. At this point, with how absurd his senses were, anything lower than max would be redundant. Before the projectiles even left their chambers, he was already on the move.
As the bombardment of projectiles crashed toward him, he dodged with the lowest possible effort, making sure to conserve energy while also preparing for other incoming projectiles.
The scene was a chaotic dance of projectiles shot faster than conventional bullets and Noah dodging acrobatically. Even with hypermotility at level four, he wouldn't normally be able to dodge bullets, but his senses made it possible.
The attacks only continued to intensify, the artificial intelligence adjusting and adapting to his rhythm, constantly forcing him to change tactics. This approach made sure his parallel processing ability was constantly being tested, pushed to the limits.
But at the end of the day, Noah was still human. Despite being capable of performing superhuman feats, his stamina still had limits. He began to tire at the ten-minute mark. The success rate at which he dodged projectiles dropped sharply.
From a staggering ninety-nine percent, it dropped to eighty. The rubber-like material, despite being unable to penetrate skin, could easily knock the breath out of the average human.
When the rate of successful evasion dropped past the fifty-percent mark, the session was brought to a close. Noah made sure to rest for an hour before moving on, this time onto telekinesis.
Noah sighed, dreading telekinesis training. At this point, telekinesis gave him the most problems. With the spiking progress he was making, he needed to constantly adjust and modify the plans.
It all began at level four, when the force he could exert spiked to twenty tons, and now at level five, it had risen to one hundred tons, and still he hadn't reached his limits. The machine hadn't been built to handle such force. He had already made blueprints for a machine that could, but building it would take time.
"I guess I'll skip it today," Noah thought.
With telekinesis off the schedule, bioluminescence was next, but today he wanted to try something different.
He wanted to try utilizing frequency manipulation in tandem with bioluminescence to achieve lasers with minimal damage to the eye. Theoretically and logically, it was sound, but it still remained to be seen.
"Switch to phase three," Noah said.
The walls and floors warped again, the turrets and obstacles receded, leaving behind dummies made of all sorts of metals.
Ready. Noah rolled up his sleeve and drew a vial containing concentrated nutrient solution. He pressed it to his arm and injected it into his system. The effect was immediate, an overwhelming sense of fullness filling him instantly.
He pressed on, using bioluminescence. Noah's vision exploded, turning white, blind. But his other senses kept him grounded and aware of his surroundings.
Violent violet light exploded from his eye sockets, colouring the entire room. The world around him fractured into outlines, wavelengths, motion trails.
He exhaled slowly, controlling the intensity. Then he began engaging frequency manipulation, he brought order to the chaos. The swirling violet converged, sharpening into a razor-thin beam of light.
He closed his eyes once more, deep violet light building behind his eyelids. Then Noah's senses locked onto a single target ahead. The moment his gaze fixed, he opened his eyes, the beam lanced forward striking metal.
It shrieked, blazing red-hot, softening, then dripping molten at the exact point of impact. The target made of aluminum directly turned into molten slag at the moment of contact.
Watching the result through his other senses, Noah couldn't help but smile slightly. It seemed he was indeed correct, frequency manipulation could indeed deal with bioluminescence shortcomings.
Aluminum had a melting point of six hundred and sixty degrees and had melted almost instantly. This meant the top temperature of the lasers was even higher, and he didn't even go all out just now.
Wanting to test his limits, Noah shifted his attention to another target, this time one with a different composition, copper to be exact.
His eyes, blinded by the previous beam of light, were already fully healed the moment a full dose healing serum was pumped into his system. At this time, he was in a state of heightened regeneration for the next thirty minutes, more than enough time to test his limits.
This time, with a little more proficiency, the lasers shot out instantly, the beam even thinner than his earlier attempt. Copper had a melting point of over one thousand degrees Celsius.
But under Noah's watchful gaze, the target's head directly split from its body, falling to the ground with molten edges. Noah froze for a brief second, surprised before quickly shutting down his laser vision.
"It's just as I thought, the higher the coherence the more power it will pack with less energy," Noah thought, glancing over at the wall that had only been protected by the energy shields.
"And that wasn't even the limit," Noah thought, a grin forming at the corners of his lips. This was exactly what he needed to challenge Viltramites, sure all-around physicality was needed, but hax was just as important. Frequency manipulation, an ability that might very well be a bane to Viltramites. With this, he would have more cards to play in his eventual clash with Nolan.
