"Fucken Croc. How the fuck are we supposed to stop this?!" Gema yelled as they continued hurling down the river.
Bael looked around at the forest as it disappeared into a large patch of open land.
Shit, are we getting closer to the port already. Dammit I can't stop it in time.
Bael tried getting up but the force of the moving boat kept him pinned to the wall.
"Everyone hold on real tight, it's about to get hectic!!" the captain yelled.
Within mere moments the boat began to slowly and steadily tip over onto its mouth while continue to travel with the now slowing down wave.
"Satel! Wake Shin up now. At the rate we aer going at we'll end up near the ocean by the time the wave has fully calmed down!" Bael yelled out.
On the other side Satel had one hand firmly clamped on Shin and the other on the railing. She took in a deep inhale then exhaled before letting go and grabbing Shin with both hands.
" Wake up! Wake up! Shin please wake up!" she yelled as she shook him frantically.
She raised her hand but before she could bring it down on Shin, the boat slammed into something and toppled the boat as It flew into the air.
Satel was flung out of the boat and immediately tried to grab the railing but she missed it by an inch. A robotic reached out and grabbed onto her arm just in time.
She looked up and saw Shin pulling himself up.
"Hellfire Quetzecoatl!" he called out.
A deafening roar rung out as the Hellfire Quetzecoatl swallowed the boat whole and stood infront of the dissipating wave.
It raised its tail as the feathers at the ends grew longer and formed a paper fan with it. It raised its tail and swung down with incredible force.
A huge gust of air blasted out and bashed against the wave, killing its momentum immediately and send the water crashing back into place.
Once the water had finally settled the Hellfire Quetzecoatl lowered itself near the water and opened it's mouth. It used its tongue to push out the boat and gently place it near the dock before disappearing into a cloud of embers.
Everyone in the boat remained motionless, panting heavily. Shin held Satel close to his chest as he struggled to catch his breath. Bael laid flat on his face right infront of them.
"If I wasn't so fragile, we could've avoided all of this," he spoke raising one hand.
"Well your fragile, put a sock in it," Satel responded, still panting heavily.
Gema collapsed on to the floor as she tried to catch her breath as well.
"I should thank you for saving me," she said looking directly at Shin.
"It's fine, no need," Shin answered waving his hand weakly.
The captain staggered out of the steering room before falling onto the floor.
"Well everybody, welcome to the country of Zelfro, home to the blacksmith clan. Hope you enjoy your stay."
