After the door closed behind the group, they looked around the room. When Huggy Wuggy turned his head to the right, he spotted a locker with a see-through glass and a gray hand with a pressure gauge at the center inside it before pointing at it. "Hand..." he said.
The trio looked in Huggy Wuggy's direction and spotted the gray hand. "That's a hand I've never seen before; what kind is it?" Doey asked.
Katelynn spotted a poster near the left corner of the wall before approaching it. When Katelynn stood before the poster, she examined it before turning her head to the trio. "Over here," she said.
As the trio approached Katelynn, they looked at the poster. "Pressure Hand..." Huggy Wuggy said, lowly.
Doey looked at the locker. "Do you think...?" he asked.
Michelle nodded. "Yeah... the green handprint on the shipping container and the Pressure Hand have to be correlated," she said as she looked at the locker. "All we need to do is find a code to open that locker."
Michelle looked at Glowby and held her left arm out before walking around the room. When Michelle was close to the whiteboard, Glowby made an alert sound, which made her look at it. "Here," she said before pressing the green button twice.
When the blacklight was on, Michelle aimed Glowby at the whiteboard, revealing an arrow pointing up on it, which made Huggy Wuggy tilt his head. "Board only show arrow," he said.
Michelle grabbed the top of the whiteboard with her right hand while aiming Glowby's blacklight at it. "Then, let's see what's on the other side," she said.
When Michelle turned the whiteboard to the other side, the group saw numbers with the blacklight and a circle around Luke's name. "There are so many numbers..." Katelynn said, lowly.
Michelle looked at the numbers '0859' inside the circle. "I'm guessing 0859 is the code for that locker," she said before approaching the locker.
When Michelle stood before the locker, she typed the code in; soon after, the locker door opened, which made her smile. "Nice," she said.
As the trio approached Michelle, Doey looked at the knob on her right prosthetic. "Bubba did say it was similar to the old prosthetic, so the switching hands part is probably the same," he said before looking at the Pressure Hand, worried. "Connecting new hands to the prosthetic though..."
Michelle twisted the knob, retracting the red hand inside her arm, and an empty slot appeared before she looked at the Pressure Hand.
Michelle closed her eyes and took a deep breath before exhaling. "Don't think of the pain..." she said, lowly, before opening her eyes and lining it with the circular part of the Pressure Hand.
When Michelle put the slot into the Pressure Hand, she felt a jolt of pain, which made her grunt a bit and hold the lower arm while the fingers twitched, which worried the trio. "You OK?" Doey asked.
Michelle took a deep breath before shakily exhaling. "I'm fine," she said as she looked at the Pressure Hand before closing and opening it. "It still hurt, but it wasn't as painful as before..."
Michelle looked at the door. "Now to put this new hand to the test," she said before approaching it, which made the trio follow.
After Michelle opened the door, the group got on the shipping container before she looked at CatNap, Mommy Long Legs, and Yarnaby. "Anything?" she asked.
When CatNap glanced at the ground, he saw two Outimals eating the bloody stuffing coming from the hole in Bron's side. "Most of them have dispersed but didn't dare climb up here, while a few of them are enjoying their 'meal'..." he said.
Michelle shuddered a bit at the last word. "That's... good to know..." she said, lowly, before looking at the trio. "Well, I got the Pressure Hand; I think it's time we leave this area."
The group nodded before they got on the catwalk; when Michelle walked toward the right a bit, she spotted the green handprint. Michelle looked at the Pressure Hand. "Now to see you in action," she said before aiming her right arm at the green handprint.
The Pressure Hand shot from Michelle's wrist and touched the green handprint. Michelle squinted her eyes a bit as the pressure gauge on the Pressure Hand started going up.
When the gauge was in the red, Michelle retracted the Pressure Hand, which pushed the shipping container far before stopping near the third catwalk.
When the Pressure Hand was back on Michelle's wrist, she looked at it. "I could get used to you," she said before looking at the group. "Let's go."
The group nodded as Michelle walked to the left before they moved forward; when they were near Bron, he looked at them while making low growls.
Michelle stopped and looked at Bron before placing her left hand against his nose. "Sorry, big guy..." she said, lowly, as she petted him. "If you're still alive after all of this, we'll come back for you; I promise..."
Bron stared at Michelle as she pulled her hand away before the group walked forward. When the group saw the shipping container, they crossed it. When Michelle aimed Glowby's blacklight at the wall, she saw an arrow pointing to the right.
When Michelle turned her head to the right, she spotted a dark carmine pink cassette tape. "A cassette tape," she said as she pressed the green button twice, switching the blacklight to the flashlight, before approaching it.
When Michelle was close to the cassette tape, she carefully picked it up and opened the white part on Glowby. As the group gathered around Michelle, she put the cassette tape inside Glowby before closing the white part.
When Michelle pressed the red button, the group heard Poppy crying and sniffling coming from Glowby, which surprised most of them.
Soon after, the group heard metal clanking. "Ah, here you are... hiding in your room," the Prototype said. "Running away from the rebellion you started."
The group heard Poppy sniffling. "I can't..." she said, lowly. "I can't be who they need. I'm not..."
Michelle stared at Glowby with a slight frown. "I didn't ask for them to look to me... but I—" the Prototype interrupted Poppy, "Failed... it scared you, and so you ran... like a child."
Most of the group growled a bit. "Prototype... stop this; please..." Poppy said. "You wanted something better, but... but if you don't let the orphans go, you won't get it; don't you see that?"
Michelle looked down. "Even if you kill me, you'll be fighting the others for years," Poppy continued. "Please, just let them go, and NO one else needs to die for either of us... please..."
The group looked at Glowby. "Everything dies, Poppy... everything except us," the Prototype said.
The group heard metal noises before they heard Poppy yelp. "What are you—" the Prototype interrupted her. "You refuse truth; you refuse reality: Your orphans can never go free. Otherwise, we'll be left with nothing, and infinity will be lonely."
The group heard clanking noises. "I know only one way to make you see this," the Prototype continued.
The group heard Poppy sound frantic. "No, no no no! Prototype, please— STOP! PLEASE!!" she shouted.
As the group heard the metal clanking get quiet, they heard Poppy's cries and screams as she banged on the glass before the tape ended. As the white part opened, most of the group stared at Glowby with somber eyes. "How awful..." Katelynn said, lowly.
Huggy Wuggy looked down with low, sad growls while Yarnaby whimpered. "He would do something like this... to his own sister..." Mommy Long Legs said, lowly, before covering her mouth. "We've seen cruelty from the scientists, but this..."
CatNap looked down. "Being encased inside glass is a terrible form of torture..." he said, lowly.
As Doey looked down, claws formed on his left hand, which made him grip his wrist. "I know, Kev... I know..." he said, lowly, before the claws retracted.
When Doey looked at Michelle, he noticed she was staring at Glowby with tears falling from her eyes, which worried him. "Misha..." he said, lowly.
Michelle covered her mouth with her left hand. "That... is not how you treat siblings..." she said, lowly. "Whatever this is... it's toxic..."
Michelle looked at the cassette tape inside Glowby before pulling it out with her right hand and closing the white part. Michelle stared at the cassette tape before looking down; soon after, she started clenching it.
The pressure gauge on the Pressure Hand started going up a bit, causing the cassette tape to crack. Soon after, Michelle crushed the cassette tape in her right hand before opening it, which made the pieces fall out of it.
After Michelle shook her right hand a bit, she looked at the group, determined. "We need to find a way to kill that motherfucker, immediately," she said.
The group stared at Michelle before nodding and crossing the shipping container. After Michelle was close to the second part of the catwalk, she aimed her right arm at the green handprint before the Pressure Hand shot from her wrist.
When the Pressure Hand touched the green handprint, the pressure gauge started going up until it was in the red. Michelle retracted the Pressure Hand to her wrist, pushing the shipping container to the far end before the group approached it.
After the group crossed the shipping container, they spotted a large vent covered by a vent grille before approaching it.
When Michelle stood before the vent grille, she aimed her right arm at it before the Pressure Hand shot forward. As the Pressure Hand touched the vent grille, the pressure gauge started going up, causing the bars on it to bend.
When the pressure gauge was in the red, Michelle retracted the Pressure Hand to her wrist, destroying the vent grille in the process. Hang on, you two... we're going to save you... she thought before the group entered the vent.
