"My gut tells me something interesting is going to happen… just like last night when we took the alleys as a shortcut."
Lunara giggled.

That's true. Girls, fortune, and trouble follow wherever you go.

Aiden chuckled, a lazy smirk on his face.
"Oh, I love trouble… especially with my wives."
He had barely finished speaking when his instincts screamed.
In one fluid motion, he yanked both twin daggers from his inventory.
A sharp, invisible aerial slash tore through the air toward him — fast enough to slice a normal person in half.
Aiden didn't even flinch.
With a casual flick of his right wrist, one dagger deflected the invisible blade of wind. Sparks flew as the attack was completely canceled mid-air. The force of it still carved a shallow gouge into the stone wall beside him.
Aiden grinned, eyes narrowing with excitement.
"What did I say… Now… where are you?"
His gaze swept across the rooftops until it locked onto a distant structure.
"There you are."
