As the day goes by and the sun begins to settle, Rover was chewing on some snacks while preparing ingredients for dinner.
The campfire he just made was crackling loudly with a pot hanging on top of it, while the orange tinted sky turned into a darkish blue and stars started to shine.
Done preparing the ingredients, Rover began to cook, he put some bread dough on the hot coal and hung some fish with sticks around the fire, while waiting for it to cook he diced some tomatoes, carrots, potatoes and onions, he found them in the wild by using Search Magic, it's one of the most underrated low level skills that people use back in Yggdrasil, while it can't search anything past medium class item, it's still a handy skill.
"Man what a day, I never thought I would be isekai like those manga and anime I used to watch" He chuckled while cutting the vegetables.
Stopping for a sec he looks up to the night sky, it was filled with stars that he rarely sees in his old world, the only time he saw them was when his mother got a request at a high class restaurant, he was amazed by them, but now he can see it every night, he smiled "I guess I can't really complain being transported to another world".
Finished chopping the vegetables, he added oil to the pot, added in the meat and waited for it to cook, when the meat is cooked set it aside and begin cooking the vegetables, onion first, then carrot and potato, add in some spice, wait for it to start smelling fragrances, and then add some water and beef stock, he didn't have the time to actually make one from scratch so he just use one that he had in his inventory, after that add in the meat and let it simmer for around 30.
While waiting for the stew to finish he turned to the bread and fish, he set aside the bread to cool off, while he took the grilled fish and put some salt and pepper on them.
"First taste of this world fish" Drooling at the sight, then he took a bite.
"Mmmm this shit is so good" As he continues to ate the fish, he ate every part of the fish even the bone as well.
After finishing the fish he sigh with satisfaction, the fish was fresh and savory, while the one he used to cook for costumer were good but they were not as fresh as this one.
Helping himself with a second fish, he began to ponder on what he should do in this world, he doesn't have any grand ambition, the only dream he had was to marry the love of his life, but with her passing it became a past dream. But now in this new world maybe, he can find a new love, who knows.
Finishing his second fish Rover sigh "man if only I had some company to share this that would be fantastic" He dropped his head
As he about to reach for a third fish, the mark on his hand began to glow, seeing this Rover was alarmed, and stood up.
"mmm... Yawn" A creature pops out of Mark, The creature looks like a small, mystical, rabbit-like spirit with a soft, rounded body and long, drooping ears, It has white fur, and a symbol on its forehead.
The creature looks around and spotted Rover, it immediately rushes to him "Rover" The creature planted itself onto Rover face "it's good to see you again" It exclaimed while hugging Rover face
Grabbing the creature out of it's face he look at it "Abby?" He question "it's really you"
Letting Abby go Rover look at Abby and smile "it's good to see you too Abby" He Pat their head, enjoying the Pat Abby smells the food that Rover been cooking "Oooh were you making dinner, you didn't forget to make one for me right" As they float to the grilled fish.
Seeing Abby float towards the food he chuckled "Don't worry I made more than enough for us" He walked to the stew he was making and tasted it "it's almost done " He nodded, seeing Rover at the campfire Abby floats toward him while munching the grilled fish, Abby peep from Rover shoulder "Oh what are you cooking" Rover glances at Abby "just some stew" He said while adding some more spices, after a couple of minutes stirring Rover taste it again "Alright it's done, want some Abby or do you prefer the grilled fish?" He asked with an amuse tone "I'll have both of them please".
While eating dinner Rover told Abby about their situation, while eating Abby "Huh so that's why the environment feels different" Rover raised an eyebrow "Different? How so" He asked.
Abby floats over to the pot "Mmm the mana in this world is a bit thinner than back at Yggdrasil, and hmmm I can't really put it into word but it's different" Abby explain and pause for a second but went for a second serving of the stew.
'Hmm is the mana really thinner here' he thought as look at his stats and his mana is already recovered from fighting the wolves, 'wait what if it's because of the stew' he glance at the stew and use appraisal.

Seeing the buff Rover eyes widen 'Mana recovery speed and it also restores mana , what the' he shakes his head 'in Yggdrasil only high tier item can that can speed up mana recovery and mana only recovery with time, but in this world I can get it with just a stew what? ' he thought with his hand on his chin. 'Maybe it's from the herbs that I picked up' he looks into his inventory, and most of the herb he picked did have some mana recovery but they were only restore 1 mana 'this would have been broken for a mage classes' he sighs.
Rover looks at his stats, he build this character as a jack of all trades, but he did make it more into a magic swordsman who can use everything, be it alchemy, smithing, and cooking, but when he needs to up his power he uses echoes that he has and uses it power with Abby skill.
'What a world huh' he sigh
After finishing his 4th serving of the stew Abby looks at Rover "So any plans on what should we do in this world?" He asked, Snapping out of his mind Rover thought about it for a second "I don't know, should we try to become famous or just lay low what do you think" He answered, Abby scratched his chin "Hmm being famous is nice and all but it has its own cons, what about we just go on adventure, explore this new world and while going around we could try to find some clue how we got here, oh and maybe there are other from Yggdrasil in this world" Abby voiced out his opinion.
Rover put his hand on his chin "other players huh" He mumbled, he doesn't know how to feel about other players, they could be friendly or hostile and other reason he doesn't like other players.
"I don't know, we still have no idea what kind of world we're at" Rover scratch his head "for now let's keep a low profile and try to get more information"
"that sounds like a plan" Abby nodded
As the night goes on Rover and Abby talked about their plan for the future, they would go low profile at first and get more information about this world.
After a bit Abby yawned "man I'm sleepy, even though I just woke up" Abby rub his eyes "and with full stomach I'm ready to hit the hay" Abby floats slowly "well you can sleep first Abby" Rover Pat Abby head which Abby enjoy.
"Alright, but what about you are you sleeping outside or do you want to sleep in the personal dimensions" Abby asked.
The personal dimensions was a player personal spaces or dimensions where they can have their private time, players can enter it though the object that the players set as the teleportation point. Some players uses pots, drawing, and crystal stone.
"I'll sleep outside for now, I kinda like it here" Rover said as he looks around, he never experienced sleeping in the wild and he wanted to experience it for the first time.
"Alright suits yourself, if you need me just call me alright" Abby float towards Rover right hand and went inside it "and don't forget to wake me up for breakfast".
Rover can only chuckled at his gluttonous friend. Rover stand up and look at the starry sky with a small smile on his face. He already feel in love with this world even though it's his first day.
"Magic barrier, Detection alarm" He cast a couple spells to keep himself safe for tonight.
He sat in front of the campfire, and leaned on to a tree watching the beautiful night sky, he just watched it until he fell asleep.
As the fire crackles, and the stars shine, Rover first day in this new world finally comes to an end, and his new adventures shall start tomorrow, will it be a wonderful experience or a terrible ones who knows.

Hey hey people it is I happy brings you another chapter, I apologize for taking a while and a slow start of the story, I just like doing it, I mean I already warn you that this fic is going to trash so don't blame me.
