Fu Zhou thought he was a warrior and with few soldiers following him,he requested Lin Zhen for protecting his goods and ensure safety for him and his colleagues.
During their travel, both Lin Zhen and Fu Zhou assisted each other. Lin Zhen offered protection to Fu Zhou's goods as they travelled through a city notorious for robberies. Recognizing the danger, Fu Zhou readily accepted Lin Zhen's offer, as he was in urgent need of protection.He was quite talkative during the journey, which took some time getting used to for Lin Zhen. Despite this, Lin Zhen remained patient. Their journey was not without its perils—particularly through the infamous city of Luoyang, a place whispered about in every caravan as a hotbed of bandits and thieves.
Lin Zhen, initially reserved, gradually found himself getting accustomed to Fu Zhou's exuberance.
Fu Zhou bargained fiercely.Prices soared high, but Fu Zhou's bargaining skills turned the tide. With each haggled price, his confidence grew, and by the end of the day, he had secured a remarkable discount on many precious items.
A wide grin spread across Fu Zhou's face as he counted his savings. "This is a victory! I've never bargained so well," he exclaimed, his voice brimming with elation. Lin Zhen watched the merchant with a mixture of amusement and admiration. Despite Fu Zhou's endless chatter, his sharp mind and skill at negotiation had truly paid off. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the two men prepared to leave the city.
Because of Lin Zhen,Fu Zhou gained huge benefits, without his help he would not be able to reach the market safely and quickly.He also need to pay money to the bandits or other precious items for ensuring his safety.He gained a double benefit with this partnership.
As a gratitude he offered to cook meal for him,amsued by his gesture Lin Zhen accepted it.
Fu Zhou was a cook who can make dishes palatable.
He made Pao chicken,Wonton soup,Peking Roast duck,Pineapple rice and red tea.
Lin Zhen found it quite pleasing and ate two bowls.
Gradually they became friends and Lin Zhen also learnt a few dishes from Fu Zhou.
Lin Zhen found Fu Zhou's character quite interesting,who grew up in a palce full of deceits,manipulations and back stabbing.
He found it refreshing and his world of view
changed while seeing him.
Lin Zhen grew fond of him eager to spend time with him.He began to enjoy his company in his otherwise boring life.
The way he sees the world and how casually he speaks with everyone without any motive made Lin Zhen to know more about his nature.
Fu Zhou also went to meet the soldiers to convey his regards for their assistance during the journey and gave some valuable items as a token of appreciation and remembrance.
Their friendship grew up during their journey and Lin Zhen enjoyed his lifetime happiness since he never met someone this joyous, jovial and cunning at the same time.
Both of them started to enjoy each other company their friendship gradually turning to affection.
This affection has a lot of complication which will affect many lives who they cared.
Lin Zhen's skill as a warrior was top notch,he was an excellent leader,he himself found a small group of members who work under him,he has a high ambition and he has been into it since he joined the army.
