Behind The Spotlight Chapter 167
Aside from Axel Gunner, Wyatt also had to think about Brody Paige and Cross Pinger's salaries.
Axel was not the only actor who found success in Hollywood. Brody, in particular, had a great filmography. The actor starred in Interview with the Bloodsucker, 7 Deadly Sins, and F*ght Cl*b, which was his latest movie, the one that solidified him as an A-lister.
Wyatt watched F*ght Cl*b and was amazed by the storytelling. The plot twist was unexpected to the point that he had to watch the movie twice just to process what actually happened.
'Fortunately, Cross Pinger didn't have massive success, so his salary is affordable and probably negotiable if Henry handles the conversation properly.'
The small-time actor had been starring in a TV show, but it only lasted 2 seasons before the TV network trashed it due to low ratings.
'Casting Axel and Brody will have to take at least $15 million. It might even be possible that they would ask for a box office share, which would complicate the contract even further.'
Considering Collin's confidence in Axel, he would probably do that. Collin often pushed for deals that benefited his clients more. Spending a huge amount of money on the movie might cause it to fail, as it was hard to gain profit if the investment was astronomical.
'It's a good thing that Uni-versus Pictures and Henry will take care of this problem. All I have to do is make the movie.'
Wyatt glanced at Collin. His first impression of him was that he was handsome, nothing more. He thought Collin had nothing except his appearance. He was grateful for the fact that Collin secured a job for him back in Director Esteban's project, but he believed Collin's capabilities were mediocre.
He was wrong. The more he learned about Collin, the more he realized that he was far from being a simple guy. The fact that Collin had five successful clients spoke for itself.
"Since this is the first time we've seen each other in almost a year, how about we have a nice drinking session? Nothing too wild, just something to loosen up. I'll contact my personal chef to prepare dinner for us."
Collin offered, and both of his clients were dumbfounded. They looked at Collin like he was sick or something.
"Huh? Why are you looking at me like that?"
"This is the first time I heard you offering a treat."
"Yeah, you're a cheap guy."
"What?"
For many years of knowing Collin, both Wyatt and Axel knew about his frugality. The fact that this millionaire talent agent was still driving a Toyuta Corrula showed the truth.
And now, Collin said he hired a personal chef? Who would believe that?
"I've been living alone in the apartment for days, and I feel like hiring a maid and a personal chef is a must."
"You also hired a maid?"
"Of course. I can't clean the house anyway. I'm too busy."
Axel and Wyatt looked at each other in shock, trying to process Collin's sudden lifestyle upgrade.
'I thought Wyatt's changes are the limelight of the day, but yours are much more shocking.' Axel thought.
"I'm in. This party is too formal for me anyway," Wyatt agreed. He preferred attending Hollywood sex parties, but that was last year. He believed he could fight off the seduction now that he had become a better person.
"Should we invite the others?"
"They're too busy. Princess Chantal has a concert in the other part of the country, while Jennifer is busy with The Singing Voice season 3. As for Lawrence, he couldn't attend."
He didn't elaborate on Lawrence's situation. None of his clients even knew that Lawrence was married.
Including Wyatt's fiancée, who was quiet most of the time, the three got drunk and had fun.

November 25, 1999.
William Edward stepped into the villa in a nice expensive suit, showing how seriously he took the occasion. The butler led him to the huge dinner hall where a long dining table was prepared, so polished it reflected the chandelier's lights.
Elijah Edward was one of the richest people in the country, and he also had a lot of children, too many for William to count with two hands. Every Thanksgiving, he invited his children to have a nice meal with him. But for William, Thanksgiving with his father was the most suffocating day. A day he wished he could skip every year.
There were 19 seats at the dining table: one for Elijah and 18 seats for his children. Four years ago, he only had 15 children, but now the roster had 3 more.
The young children were taken care of by the maids, as Elijah didn't want the women he impregnated to attend the Thanksgiving, claiming it would "ruin the atmosphere."
'Last year, the youngest child couldn't help but cry because of the heavy atmosphere, which made everything unbearably tense... Dad ate his meal without a problem despite the suffocating dinner.'
William Edward found his seat, he got the 8th seat. While waiting for the other children to show up, William was greeted by his older brother.
"I heard that you recently finished college? What's your next move after that?"
"... I plan on working in Hollywood, building my own production studio, starting small, then growing from there."
"That's not bad. I heard you're one of the owners of The Accidental Wedding Crashers copyright. I guess you have no plan of fighting for the inheritance... William, I recommend that you live your life peacefully. Because once you show any intention of fighting for the inheritance, I will stop looking at you as my younger brother and I won't hesitate to crush you."
Rico Edward looked at William with hidden intention. He was the 2nd oldest son in the family and an ambitious one.
"But Hollywood, huh? I guess you decided to work with Lila instead." Rico smirked.
"Why did I hear my name?"
Lila Seraphina showed up in formal office attire. Rico stood up and approached Lila for a hug, a gesture too dramatic to be sincere. Lila stepped back, avoiding him.
"My sister! How's your day? I heard that Apex Network Talent has been doing great over the past few years. No wonder Dad gave you the CEO position despite being an ungrateful bastard."
"All of us are bastards. Elijah never treated us like his real children, so don't pretend otherwise." Lila found her seat, which was the 4th one.
"Nah, you're much worse than us. Even now, you still haven't changed your surname to Edward. Lila Edward has a nice tone, you should consider it."
"Rico, I know that the internet company you founded is deeply affected by the Dot-com bubble burst. Don't try to act like a nice person and beg for help. Even Elijah won't look at you with pity, so drop the act."
"You fucking whore—"
"I don't remember teaching you how to swear, Rico, nor do I recall raising you to be loud."
Elijah Edward, the owner of the Database Giant, showed up, bringing a heavy silence.
