She was in her office at the headquarters of the city guard, an enormous fortress that rose over twenty stories and housed almost five thousand guards.
Her shapely buttocks rested on a leather armchair while her head lay on a pile of documents on her desk.
It had been a few months since she had finally managed to become captain of the third regiment of the imperial guard, her life's goal.
But nothing had gone as she had hoped.
