In the depths of a lost valley and inside a large white-walled sanctuary, a creature could be seen lying under the rays of sunlight that came through a circular opening in the temple's ceiling.
It was Khaedryss, butcher of empires and slayer of immortals.
Her body stretched almost one hundred meters and her black scales shimmered so brightly in the sunlight that they seemed capable of blinding anyone.
Suddenly, her eyes opened, her slit-shaped pupil contracting in the light.
She expected her caretakers to finally bring her her meal, but what she saw was a little creature, so pathetically small that it looked cute.
The little girl, no more than five years old, watched Khaedryss with interest, her big, childish purple eyes shining brightly, meeting the dragon's huge, menacing, equally purple eyes.
"You're..." The little girl murmured, then, after a moment's thought, flashed a big smile. "Little purple!"
