In a dark room in one of the most luxurious mansions in White Peak City, a young man could be seen, his body covered in bandages and his hands trembling as he held a glass of wine.
Suddenly, the door to his room opened and he looked up.
In front of him stood a man with long white hair tied up and a neatly trimmed beard, highlighting his noble features.
That man was Zhao Wuhen, grand elder of the Zhao family.
"I've spoken to Yanxiao, guardian of the sect," Wuhen said as he approached Zhao Yulie's bed.
"'Father, I'll sort this out, please-"
"You won't," Wuhen interrupted Yulie. "Do you know who you offended?"
"That brat? He was just some nobody that I can crush at any time-"
"Then why didn't you crush him?" Yulie was interrupted again. "He's a nobody with the capacity to be a somebody, and you offended him without having the capacity to get rid of him."
Wuhen paused for a moment, watching his son coldly. "Tell me, where did my teachings end up in your shitty little head?"
