"Well, I didn't expect to be back here again so soon," Revi said with a smile as her holographic projection appeared in the senate chamber.
"Phoenix Empress Revi, thank you once again for answering the Senate's summons," the Supreme Speaker said in greeting.
"You're welcome, Supreme Speaker," Revi replied before saying, "Let me guess, this is about the pilot of the Black Knight and their identity."
"I'm assuming Senator Vu already informed you of this," the Supreme Speaker replied while rolling her eyes.
"Did he?" Revi asked while looking into the air before tapping her index finger against her chin.
"Phoenix Empress, please," The Supreme Speaker said with a sigh before adding, "This is a serious matter."
"You really need to learn to lighten up, little Viven and not be so serious all the time," Revi said with a smile while staring at a particular part of Supreme Speaker Viven's body before adding, "Though I'm not sure calling you little is accurate when you have those things."
"Phoenix Empress, I would kindly ask you not to make such remarks about my breasts," Viven huffed, while several of the senators quietly laughed.
"Empress, I don't believe you were summoned here to tease the Supreme Speaker," Vu stated as his holographic projection appeared.
"But she's such an adorable girl, she reminds me so much of her grandmother, especially in her chest area," Revi replied with a smirk.
"Empress Revi!" Viven exclaimed while flushing in embarrassment.
"Fine, fine," Revi said while waving her hand before asking, "You want to ask about Adam, right?"
"Adam? Is that the name of the Black Knight's pilot?" Viven asked.
"Well, I suppose that depends on whether you classify the pilot or the mech as the Black Knight," Revi replied before adding, "But yes, Adam is the name of the Black Knight's pilot."
"Why didn't you tell us this the last time we summoned you?" Viven asked.
"Because, as I told you previously, two thousand years ago, he never gave me his name and I never saw his face since he was wearing his armour," Revi replied.
"Then what can you tell us about him now?" Viven asked.
"Take a look for yourself," Revi replied, as a holographic screen appeared beside her for everyone in the senate chamber to see.
[[Name: Adam Spencer]]
[[Age: 19 (Universal Calendar)]]
[[YOB: 3228 (Universal Calendar)]]
[[Race: Earthling]]
[[Species: Humanoid]]
[[Home Planet: Earth (Milky Way Galaxy)]]
[[Registered Ship: EDF001-Spector (Captain)]]
[[Convictions: None]]
[[Mercenary Hall Rank: E]]
[[Bounty Hunter Guild Rank: F]]
"Earth? Milky Way Galaxy? He's not from the known universe?" Viven asked after reading the information and not recognising Adam's home planet or galaxy.
"That's correct, little Viven, well done. I see that you have kept up on your knowledge of the universe," Revi replied jokingly.
"Well, I am the Supreme Speaker after all," Viven boasted while thrusting out her overly ample chest even further.
"And that's why I had Vu vote for you at the last Supreme Speaker selection," Revi replied before smirking while adding, "Though I would advise you to stop thrusting those weapons out like that."
"I thank you for the support back then and hope to receive it again at the upcoming selection," Viven replied before sighing, after which she added, "But please stop mentioning my breasts."
"Supreme Speaker, I request that you save your canvassing for votes until we are not in session," a voice suddenly said, as the holographic projection of an energy-based lifeform appeared in the air of the senate chamber.
"Apologies, Ozasin Galaxy Senator," Viven said towards the energy-based lifeform before turning back to Revi and asking, "Since this Adam Spencer is from outside the known universe, we have no authority to summon him to appear before us. Given that, the Senate would like you to pass on a message that we are requesting that he appear before us."
"I am, of course, more than happy to pass on the request," Revi replied before adding, "However, since I have already spoken with Adam regarding this and know his answer, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed."
"You mean he has no plan to accept our request?" Viven asked with a frown.
"That is correct," Revi replied.
"We should force him to appear before us," Sciezasyi the Tail Galaxy Senator suddenly demanded as he once again appeared.
Upon seeing Sciezasyi's appearance, Revi's eyes narrowed dangerously before every senator saw through her holographic projection that a red glow had started to appear around her body.
"Hepolisk Senator, disappear from my eyesight before I order every member of the Ashes Galaxy that is currently stationed on the senate space station to attack and kill you," Revi said in a low and dangerous voice.
"HOW DARE YOU!" Sciezasyi roared angrily while every other senator in the senate chamber started to sweat after hearing Revi's words.
"HOW DARE I? HOW DARE I, YOU ASK?" Revi shouted angrily as the red glow turned into flickering flames.
"How dare you, I ask? How dare you show yourself before me? How dare you interrupt my conversation with the Supreme Speaker? How dare your race try to eliminate my own? How dare you appear before me when even the ruler of your bastard race dares not to?"
As Revi's outburst came to an end, the senate chamber was filled with nothing but silence as everyone stared in shock at the holographic projection of the Phoenix Empress, whose body was now covered in flames so intense that every senator suddenly felt as if the heat of those flames was washing against their faces.
As the senators continued to watch, they noticed that the holographic projection of Sciezasyi appeared to show that he had started to sweat and as they looked forward to what was about to happen next, the holographic projection of Revi flickered before suddenly disappearing.
The senators stared in shock at where Revi's holographic projection had been for a few moments, as if their brains were unable to process what had just happened before they broke out in discussion about why she had just disappeared.
"SILENCE!, SILENCE!," Viven shouted before asking with a frown, "Ashes Galaxy Senator, could you kindly explain to the senate why the Phoenix Empress left before her summons was complete?"
The holographic projection of Vu appeared once again and as he scratched his cheek, he said, "I have just received a message from Empress Revi. She apologises for losing her temper and for the holocall being cut off, but it seems that in her rage, she momentarily lost control of her flames, which inadvertently damaged the holoprojector she was using."
After hearing Vu's explanation, several of the senators gulped as they thought about the power Revi's flames must possess to accidentally damage a holoprojector.
In fact, several of them noticed that Sciezasyi seemed to start sweating even more than before.
"I see, well, I believe we can let the situation go this time since the Tail Galaxy should have known better than to appear before the Phoenix Empress, given her hatred for his race," Viven remarked while glaring at Sciezasyi.
"My apologies, Supreme Speaker, it wont happen again," Sciezasyi said apologetically before his holographic projection once again vanished.
"See that it doesn't.
Part of the agreement for members of the Herpolisk race being allowed to represent the Tail Galaxy is that they will no longer hunt the Phoenix race and that none of your race is to appear before the Phoenix Empress," Viven stated before turning to Vu and saying.
"As for the Phoenix Empress herself, please remind her to be more careful in the future and that we hope she will try to persuade this Adam Spencer to appear before us."
"I will do as you say, Supreme Speaker," Vu replied.
It had been a short while since Revi left to answer the Universal Senate's summons, and during that time, the group had continued to explore the festival.
Lorelie and Elemence had hung back a bit since Elemence wanted to discuss some things.
Also, since Lorelie's performance, more and more members of the Phoenix race had begun to approach her as they asked for pictures with her and her autograph, which she happily accepted.
Unfortunately, this led to the conversation proceeding slowly at first, and it took a bit of time for Elemence to broach her main topic.
"I'm curious about this whole group relationship you all seem to have going," Elemence stated.
"Why? Interested in joining?" Lorelie asked with a wink.
"I wouldn't be opposed to it, I mean, I never expected I would ever get to meet the man who saved my entire race," Elemence replied as she looked at Adam's back before adding, "I doubt there are many women in my race who would refuse such an opportunity."
"Then what can you bring to the family that Revi can't? We don't just let anyone join, you know," Lorelie asked.
"While I won't deny I'm interested, that's not the reason I wished to speak with you," Elemence replied.
