Chapter 67 - Coordinates That Do Not Exist

The System map displayed six ordinary date locations before reaching the impossible coordinate. A botanical garden, museum courtyard, public overlook, riverside path, café archive room, plus one abandoned campus rooftop appeared through blue markers; the seventh marker contained no local name.

Latitude remained within Earth's range, while longitude read two hundred fourteen degrees east. Every standard map normalized the number toward negative one hundred forty-six, placing it inside an ocean nowhere near campus; the System marker still hovered beside the university district.

"Screenshot first," Nina said, keeping her voice calm while the garden path remained public around us.

I captured the full map, isolated marker, plus reward prompt before touching anything else. The first image entered my camera roll correctly; its thumbnail darkened after three seconds, then broke into blocks of pale blue noise.
