Yuna waited beside the practice line while my answer remained inside its proper boundary. She had noticed greater ease inside my movement, but observation did not grant access toward the private reason I suspected. Physical evidence could support a training correction without becoming a key toward my relationship.
"Something personal happened," she said, lowering her padded weapon while the senior observer recorded our pause.
"My private life is none of your business," I replied, keeping the answer direct without accusing her of wrongdoing.
Yuna considered the direct boundary for one quiet second before nodding once. She neither apologized for noticing a physical change nor demanded that I reward her accuracy with disclosure.
"Correct," she said, lifting the weapon toward guard again, "your feet remain my business while they occupy my floor."
"That distinction sounds expensive," I replied, returning toward the marked position.
