The idea of an android getting married caught everyone completely off guard.

"It wasn't sudden at all," Zangya explained with an amused smile. "Over the past few years, 17 has been working at the nature preserve. He once accidentally injured a visiting researcher, so..."
"Ahem!" Android 17 coughed twice and interrupted Zangya's narration, though the rest of the story was easy to imagine.
Models like 17 and 18 had been converted from human beings, retaining complete human functions and emotions. It was perfectly natural for someone with 17's good looks, stable income, and impressive abilities to attract romantic interest.
"You never mentioned this before... When is the wedding?"
"Next week. Zangya suggested I invite everyone together, so I decided to include all our friends on Earth." Android 17 had made thorough preparations, his planning remarkably detailed.
Beyond the immediate household, he had also invited Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, and the other Earth-bound fighters.
"Thank you for letting me stay here all this time. I'll be moving out in a few days."
"Where will you live?"
"I bought a house on the island across from my workplace, and I'm saving money to purchase a large yacht." Android 17's face glowed with happiness as he described his plans.
He was finally integrating completely into human society—soon to have his own wife and perhaps children. Even his dreams felt within reach, like owning that yacht. Someone with such incredible powers simply wanted to become an ordinary devoted husband and father.
"Congratulations," Android 16 said with sophisticated warmth, his smile much more natural than in earlier days.
Rukon blinked with obvious disappointment. "Uncle 17, you're really moving away?"
"I'll still come visit you regularly." Android 17 had always been protective of Rukon, spending his free time playing games and helping with daily care.
Apart from his parents, these androids were Rukon's closest family members. Hearing that Uncle 17 was leaving made the little boy pout with genuine sadness.
"18, let's talk on the roof for a while. We might not see each other as often once things change." Android 17 suddenly made the suggestion.
Android 18 seemed momentarily dazed, then nodded in agreement.
The siblings shared a close bond, having stayed together since Dr. Gero's traumatic transformation into artificial beings. With one of them getting married, they undoubtedly had much to discuss. Everyone tactfully left them privacy as they flew up to the rooftop.
The two sat beneath the scattered stars, with the moon not yet full overhead.
A gentle breeze stirred Android 18's blonde hair into graceful waves. Android 17 produced a photograph and spoke quietly, "This is her—a very gentle woman."
Android 18 took a deep breath of the peaceful night air, her gaze shifting to the photo. In the faint moonlight, she saw 17's fiancée for the first time.
She was an attractive woman—quite beautiful with an excellent figure, wearing glasses that gave her a gentle, generous, and caring appearance. In the photo, 17 and his fiancée appeared very intimate against a backdrop of pristine forest landscape, with several curious wild animals surrounding them.
"It's a lovely picture. You mentioned finding a girlfriend before, and I actually laughed at you. Turns out it was true."
"18, now that I've successfully integrated into human life, you should be brave enough to try as well."
Android 17 tucked away the photograph and smiled meaningfully.

No one else knew the androids' complete history—only they retained both precious and painful recollections of their transformation.
Time flew swiftly, and within a week, Android 17's wedding day arrived as scheduled.
In one of West City's most prestigious venues, the groom appeared in elegant formal wear alongside his bride. The couple looked perfectly matched, both radiating joy as they welcomed guests to their celebration of new happiness.
The invited guests represented close friends and family from both sides. Android 17 had specifically requested that everyone dress appropriately—especially Goku, who was firmly instructed not to appear in his usual martial arts gi.
The Raditz family attended in full formal attire, and even Goku and Vegeta had donned proper suits to avoid standing out inappropriately. Krillin, Tien, and the others arrived punctually, while Yamcha brought along his newest girlfriend.
Everyone presented gifts and congratulations to celebrate the newlyweds' union.
