Chapter 444 - Chapter 444: Novel Material

"Raditz, let's get started!"

Early morning sunlight barely penetrated the windows when a woman's enthusiastic voice echoed through the house, making Raditz recoil instinctively—like facing an opponent he couldn't defeat and couldn't escape.

Tights had arrived to collect novel material yet again.

Since relocating to Earth, she'd dedicated herself completely to creating an expansive novel series based on Raditz and his companions, writing biographical accounts for each character drawn from their actual adventures. In pursuit of comprehensive material, she frequently pestered the entire group with endless questions, often knowing intricate details better than some of the participants themselves.

The second volume had been published recently and reportedly achieved tremendous popularity across the universe. This success stemmed from multiple factors: vigorous promotion through the Galactic Justice League's communication networks, protagonists based directly on Raditz's legendary team, and Tights's considerable artistic embellishments that made the narratives more dramatic and emotionally compelling.

With such achievements, Tights worked even more diligently. When focused on her craft, she sometimes displayed more intensity than Vegeta during training sessions.

Recently, however, the novel had lost momentum—writer's block had consumed her creative process entirely. Learning that Raditz had finally returned after more than two months adventuring in the Sixth Universe presented the perfect opportunity! There must be countless incredible stories! So Tights went directly to Raditz's residence and interrogated them about Sixth Universe experiences.

Raditz had been dragged through questioning for extensive periods, his throat parched and voice hoarse, yet she absolutely refused to release him. He had to admire Tights's relentless energy—it exceeded Super Saiyan stamina.

"Alright, alright! I'll tell you everything—but can we please eat breakfast first?" Raditz pleaded with a pained expression, his hair disheveled from running his hands through it repeatedly in exasperation.

"Hmph! Don't even think about escaping. We were discussing the auction from yesterday's conversation."

Raditz thought to himself that the gifts he'd distributed to everyone had just been delivered yesterday—having her immediately demand details felt somewhat embarrassing. Recalling the precious gifts sent to Bulma, Gure, Ariel, Chi-Chi, and numerous others from the Sixth Universe yesterday, Raditz had been quite pleased with himself, receiving abundant compliments and grateful thanks. Now, facing Tights, he felt considerably less confident.

Auntie, you also received a rare gemstone from me yesterday! In light of that, can't you interrogate someone else?

But after mental consideration—Broly definitely couldn't articulate anything useful, Android 18... forget it, Rukon was too young, Zangya... well, after thinking it through systematically, it really could only be him.

Tights and Raditz retreated into the study after breakfast, beginning their recording session. Rukon emerged from his bedroom clutching a toy, yawning widely while rubbing his eyes. "Mom, did Dad and Aunt Tights really start this early?"

Zangya smiled warmly from the dining table, placing a breakfast plate on the pristine white tablecloth. "Tights is incredibly serious about her work. Haha, she interrogated me for hours last time too. Though I've read her novels—they're genuinely excellent. Now hurry up, wash your face and come eat."

"Okay..." Rukon rubbed his cheeks with small hands and shuffled into the bathroom in a drowsy daze.

After returning from the Sixth Universe, their daily lives had gradually resumed previous comfortable rhythms.

During this period, Goku and Vegeta had attempted every conceivable method to contact Whis, even managing training visits to the Realm of the Gods of Destruction. Both warriors trained diligently with Raditz as their ultimate benchmark, their strength improving substantially. Of course, Raditz hadn't yet informed either of them about achieving Super Saiyan 4.

Suddenly, deliberate knocking sounded at the front door.

"Coming! May I ask who—"

Midway through Zangya's polite greeting, an exceptionally loud and authoritative voice interrupted. This voice radiated tremendous confidence and commanding presence, causing Zangya to pause with momentary confusion. It sounded familiar, yet for a brief moment she couldn't recall where she'd heard it previously.

Instead, Rukon burst from the bathroom shouting excitedly: "It's Lord Beerus!"

Zangya hurried to open the door, discovering—as expected—Beerus and Whis standing at the threshold. Whis wore his characteristic gentle smile while Beerus's expression appeared distinctly displeased.

"Where's Raditz?" Beerus demanded immediately upon entering, sitting himself down without invitation and reaching for breakfast items.

His face remained darkly irritated. He'd only just received intelligence from Vados that Raditz had returned to the Seventh Universe, prompting him to observe the mortal realm with Whis. They'd discovered Raditz had indeed returned and distributed gifts to numerous people—yet Raditz hadn't visited the Realm of Destruction? Didn't he have a gift for the God of Destruction himself?!

This created profound imbalance in Beerus's mind. He'd immediately departed with Whis to Earth, assuming an interrogative posture as though preparing to demand explanations.

"I'll get him," Zangya offered diplomatically.

"No need—I'm here." Raditz, having achieved godly ki perception, naturally sensed Beerus's arrival. He rushed down from the upstairs study and greeted them quickly. "Lord Beerus, Master Whis! What an unexpected honor!"

"You..." Beerus prepared to deliver a stern lecture to Raditz, but his expression suddenly transformed—shifting from serious displeasure to shocked apprehension—because he'd spotted Tights descending the stairs behind Raditz.

Not only did Raditz fear this particular woman—even Beerus maintained healthy respect (terror) regarding her.

"Oh! Lord Beerus! This is perfect timing—I was hoping to interview you!" Tights exclaimed enthusiastically.

"WHIS! WHIS!" Beerus panicked in rare fashion, calling his attendant's name repeatedly. But at that precise moment, Whis was engaged in pleasant discussion with Zangya regarding the delicious breakfast spread.

Raditz shot Beerus a deeply sympathetic look.

Tights had already positioned herself directly before Beerus, launching into rapid-fire questioning. Beerus's carefully prepared lecture and accusatory routine were completely disrupted by Tights's verbal onslaught.

"This woman..." Beerus thought with internal frustration, feeling his composure crumbling.

The only mortal women in the universe capable of making Beerus feel genuinely overwhelmed were the sisters Bulma and Tights. Whenever either spoke at length, Beerus experienced distinct dizziness and disorientation.

Finally seizing a momentary gap in her monologue, Beerus quickly created distance.

"Whis! We still have important divine business to attend to. We've lingered on Earth far too long this visit. It's time to depart!"

"But Lord Beerus, you haven't even—"

"SILENCE! I said it's time to return immediately!"

Beerus snarled, interrupting Whis mid-sentence, and hurriedly positioned himself beside the angel, practically dragging Whis's sleeve. Whis chuckled knowingly, accepted the breakfast plate Zangya had just prepared for him, and tapped his staff against the floor. Dazzling radiance instantly illuminated the dimensional space.

Raditz seized the opportunity to rush forward, grabbing Beerus firmly around the waist, and entered the spatial tunnel alongside them.

With flashing gorgeous light, a colorful beam shot into the void and vanished before everyone's astonished eyes.

"They... just left like that?"

"I don't understand—what exactly was Lord Beerus's purpose for visiting? Wasn't that excessively hasty?"

"He's gone! What about my novel research?!" Tights exclaimed with bitter disappointment, resentment clear across her features. She remained completely oblivious that she was precisely the reason Beerus had fled so precipitously.

Inside the Dimensional Tunnel

Within the kaleidoscopic light corridor, Whis piloted their trajectory while Raditz clung desperately to Beerus's waist, provoking an indignant shout: "Hey! Release me this instant! Raditz! I haven't settled accounts with you yet!"

"Lord Beerus, I'm afraid of falling out of the dimensional stream!"

"Can't you change your grip position?! You're tickling my sides!"

"I'm terrified of falling out!"

Beerus felt psychological pain while Whis laughed melodiously, continuing their journey straight toward the Realm of the Gods of Destruction.
