Chapter 448 - Chapter 448: Chronoa's Urgent Communication

Three years passed in what felt like mere moments...

Raditz, Goku, and Vegeta had followed Whis to train in the Realm of the Gods of Destruction—and they'd remained there for three full years. So immersed were they in intensive practice that they barely noticed time's relentless passage. They trained, trained, and trained continuously without respite.

As a Supreme Kai, returning to the mortal realm proved extraordinarily easy for Raditz. He frequently transported everyone back to Earth for visits, also bringing exceptional cuisine to Beerus and Whis as diplomatic offerings. Sometimes he stayed directly at home overnight before returning to the Realm of Destruction for training the following day.

At this moment, Raditz suspended himself in mid-air, eyes closed, sensing the vast void of the universe while entering a state of selfless meditation. Every breath harmonized perfectly with nature—his rhythm matching wind patterns, cloud formations, and lake wave oscillations.

Possessing divine dimensional perception, Raditz's comprehension of this cultivation advanced daily. He understood more profoundly than others how to merge himself with nature and the cosmos, thereby reaching higher plateaus in Ultra Instinct mastery. Though his eyes remained closed, he could perceive the vast starry expanse and infinite universe. Despite physically occupying the Realm of Destruction, he seemed suspended within endless boundless space itself.

Initially, he could still hear Goku and Vegeta's battles when entering this void state. Now, however, all sound became isolated—absolute silence surrounding him. Mist-like steam emanated from his body, radiating intense heat as energy covered his surface like flowing light. With each breath, his power fluctuated irregularly—like an early spring river whose frozen surface appeared calm while turbulent currents raged beneath.

This represented another advancement in divine power mastery.

The lake surface rippled slightly, suddenly stirring concentric circles. Raditz slowly opened his eyes. "Lord Beerus, you have a bite."

"I KNOW!" Beerus snorted, swinging his fishing rod vigorously to hook a plump, substantial fish. The catch thrashed energetically, visibly delighting the God of Destruction.

Whis, stationed beside Beerus, squinted with characteristic amusement. "It appears Raditz's divine comprehension has improved yet again."

"Hmph. He's still far from my level."

"Hahaha! Isn't Lord Beerus perhaps... concerned? At this progression rate, Raditz will likely surpass you eventually."

Whis tilted his head with playful teasing evident in his tone.

Beerus turned away, resuming fishing without verbal response. Yet periodically, the God of Destruction glanced sideways toward Raditz—his expression unreadable, thoughts inscrutable.

Raditz's advancement speed genuinely surprised Beerus. Maintaining tranquil meditation while simultaneously penetrating subtle universal truths suggested consciousness had separated from physical form, reaching higher dimensional existence. Current Raditz occupied the realm preparing for true godhood—in the hierarchy of divine testing, he stood merely one step away from touching authentic divine realm.

Beerus maintained a persistent intuition that the critical moment approached—and wouldn't require much additional waiting.

"Take a break, Raditz," Whis suggested with gentle encouragement.

"I'll join Lord Beerus fishing!"

"DON'T!" Beerus, previously lounging leisurely on stone formations, suddenly raised his upper body. "You steal my fish every single time!"

Whis laughed heartily. "Obviously because Lord Beerus's technique needs improvement—you frequently lose concentration."

"Hmph! Nonsense." Beerus fixed Raditz with a stern glare, causing Raditz to abandon the notion. Otherwise, Beerus would complain endlessly.

At that moment, the Time Realm emblem—dormant for extended periods—suddenly activated, emitting brilliant white radiance.

"Is Lady Chronoa contacting you?" Whis recognized the badge immediately.

Raditz felt equally puzzled, frowning as he activated communication. Trunks's voice emerged from the connection.

"Master Raditz? Something terrible has happened! Lady Chronoa's Time Egg has been stolen!"

The anxious voice trembled noticeably. Judging from the tension level, this represented an extraordinarily serious incident. Raditz didn't know what a "Time Egg" was specifically, but anything capable of deeply troubling Chronoa must be profoundly significant.

"What exactly is a Time Egg?"

"There's no time to explain properly now—can you come here immediately? I'm at the Time Nest, and Lady Chronoa has fainted from distress!" Trunks explained urgently.

Actually made Chronoa faint from anxiety? The situation must be catastrophically serious. Raditz nodded immediately. "Understood. I'll arrive momentarily."

Hearing Raditz's affirmative response, Trunks audibly exhaled with relief on the badge's opposite end.

"Has something occurred in the Time Realm?" Whis inquired after observing Raditz's changing expression.

"Something was stolen—so distressing that the Supreme Kai of Time fainted. Trunks requested I investigate immediately."

Beerus interjected: "Chronoa has served as Supreme Kai of Time for tens of millions of years. It's genuinely strange she'd never experience theft."

"I suspect this isn't a simple matter. Anyone capable of stealing from the Time Realm cannot be ordinary. Raditz, be cautious of your persistent adversary—the individual from the Demon Realm," Whis advised pointedly.

Whis and Raditz's thoughts aligned perfectly. Most beings didn't even know the Time Realm existed, let alone possess capability to steal from it. Personnel within the Time Realm were meticulously selected from countless candidates—thoroughly vetted and trustworthy. When problems arose, internal investigation occurred first. Theft would only be confirmed after eliminating insider involvement.

Therefore, only one probable answer remained: the Demon Realm operative—Towa!

Since Mira's elimination during their previous encounter, Towa's activities had become noticeably subdued. Aside from the Janemba incident suspected to be her handiwork, no major disruptions had occurred. The prolonged peace nearly made people forget such an existence persisted.

But this time, her return involved immediate escalation—disturbing the Time Realm itself. If truly her doing, Raditz had to admire Towa's audacity and persistence while growing curious which pawn she'd deployed this time.

"I'm departing immediately." Raditz waved farewell to Whis and Beerus, his expression serious as he traveled to the Time Realm through the badge's temporal power.

Dazzling, kaleidoscopic brilliance descended upon the Time Nest. People already waited where Raditz materialized.

The Supreme Kai of Time and Trunks rushed forward, anxious expressions momentarily brightening with relief.

"Master Raditz! You finally arrived!"

Back in the Realm of Destruction

Far away in the Realm of Destruction, Beerus gazed upward, his fishing rod casually positioned before him. "This Demon Realm individual you mentioned—the one who interfered with Sixth Universe space-time?"

"Most likely the same person. My sister Vados reported that the power signature unmistakably originated from the Demon Realm. That individual transported another monster from parallel space-time into the Sixth Universe, creating substantial disaster."

"Hmph. If they've offended me, I'll simply destroy them directly," Beerus stated coldly.

In the God of Destruction's perspective, conventional morality held no relevance. Concepts like good, evil, righteousness, or wickedness proved meaningless.

However, they avoided meddling in matters beyond their jurisdiction—differing from Supreme Kais in that regard.

Demon Realm operatives demonstrated wisdom by understanding whom they could provoke—and knowing Gods of Destruction remained absolutely off-limits.

Whis smiled faintly. "The Demon Realm forces probably didn't anticipate Raditz reaching his current state. In certain respects, provoking him now essentially equals provoking you, Lord Beerus!"
