What am I thinking!? Why is my heart beating so fast around him?? AHHHH I don't know, I'm supposed to be a fearless demon king..but for some reason,I feel powerless compare to him...who is he exactly?
"So,you going to stay in this planet?"he ask me suddenly,"ah..No,I don't have money to stay here"
He smile "then how about this,You follow me,and work for me?" What..?what does he meant by that.."work for you..?" I kind of scared,he said he's a merchant right..?a normal merchant??
"Don't worry, I'm not going to have you work something dangerous,well...we will do it together,all we need to do is searching for scraps from the space and turned it to the exchange guild,they will give us money for things we gave them,but...all those stuff have to be function and working to be exchanged!".
Sounds fun....but I'm scared...how funny...I used to be a fearless demon king...but now....how ironic...he looks at me and pat my head suddenly "huh?"."eh.."...he also looks confused "a-ah...sorry,you... just look troubled with something in your mind..."..he worried about me..?but...we barely know each other..."y-yeah... I'm just thinking about something"
"Well, if you want the job,you can come here tomorrow,my traveling partner will be here too" ouh?he travels with someone? "Alright".he smile at me...again,he always smile...wonder what is inside his head...but for some reason,I don't wanna know.i went home and rethinking of what he said...it is a really good plan as I also need money...but...I don't know if I will do the job well...ughhh
The next day I went back to the cafe as he told me to,as I look at the table he's sitting at, there's a young man in front of him,is that his traveling partner?the guy's blonde with purple eyes .. quite a combination...
"Ouh? You're here?"Eric's voice coming from behind me
"Y-yes!, I'm..here for the...job?"why is my voice shaking?? That's ridiculous, I'm the great demon king! I shouldn't be shaking right now...but then again....what a great demon king going to job interview anyway?...
"Hm? Is this the guy?,not bad if I say so myself"the blonde man spoke his purple eyes piercing into me,we made eye contact but I quickly look away
"Woah,if you say it,we actually might got a good employee!" Eric let out a small chuckle as he sat down beside the blonde guy. "Hm? Arthur? Do you not want to sit?"
"Huh? O-ouh! S-sorry! I will sit" I sat down across from them but they just look at me with a smile! Oh the star maiden! I'm scared!
"Arthur,this is Fubuki Ichio, he's my traveling partner and my closest friend" Eric introduce us and it seems Fubuki already know about me.
"H-hi,my name is Arthur Janshy..Nice to meet you sir" That's good enough right? It okay for the first impression??
"I been meaning to meet you Arthur,I have heard about you from Eric for quite a while now.." we shake hands...and his hand is so cold actually..."so you're the guy that had been taking Eric's money hm?" He looks at me straight in eyes with a sinister smile,ekk! I'm scared! He's more scary than the actual Star Maiden!
"I.. I'm sorry??" I want to cry so bad...
'Pfft-..' a tiny laugh from Eric can be heard Is he laughing at me??? " Now now, don't tease him much, I'm the one giving him the money, besides I can ask Syafz for more!"
"Idiot, You really think that Brother-in-law or yours who I know that literally dislike you would give you more money?" Eric just brush it off and sigh
"Well that bastard does hate me before but after such time we spend together,he now grew fond of me.." Eric look at somewhere,maybe the time that he said earlier?"pfft- maybe he did,a little tho"
"I get it,that kid is as stubborn as ever!"Fubuki add..wait?? Is this job interview or just gossip Meetup!?
"Uh? So what's this job interview is about?"I tried to change the subject...
"What do you mean? you're already hired, we're just here to hangout" Fubuki said as he smirk at my obliviousness well sorry a certain someone said this is a job interview!
"What...?" I'm genuinely confused
"You're already accepted when Fubuki said not bad"Eric said as he eat his food
Is this really how humans get a job? It's confusing,humans always confusing, that's why I tend to avoid them.
