Next came the Obsidian Collegium.
Arctyx stepped forward. His eyes narrowed in intrigue.
"Curious…" he murmured. "Something in their construction carries a resonance that borders on conceptual purity."
He met Lucien's eyes, not prying... only acknowledging.
"Brother Wolf, we wish to trade too."
Lucien shrugged.
"You know the rules, scholar."
Arctyx chuckled.
"Direct as always. Very well. My belongings have already fallen into your hands, so… I must rely on my seniors this time."
"Hey—you agreed to bet your storage ring."
Laughter rippled through the Collegium.
Scholar Cyranor (the 4th senior brother) presented a storage ring filled with rare herbs, scrolls, refinement materials, etc... Each was carefully chosen.
Lucien accepted those with genuine excitement.
Arctyx nodded approvingly.
"If Stillness recognizes resonance, then these creations of yours may hold surprising weight."
His third eye glimmered faintly but he said no more.
