For several moments, the Red Dragon simply stared at the projection centered on him.
Lucien found the reaction amusing.
He had already decided that the ancient dragon was one of the most suitable people present to receive the Covenant of the Thousandfold Echo.
The battle had only confirmed it.
Lucien had watched the Red Dragon's flames cover kilometers of battlefield without touching a single allied formation. Its attacks were violent enough to erase entire Black Mass groups, yet the fire curved around friendly forces with a degree of control that did not match the dragon's usual temperament.
That control mattered.
Giving someone the ability to reproduce an enormously destructive technique was only useful if the bearer could keep those additional attacks from becoming a disaster of their own.
The Red Dragon had already proven that it could.
Its reserves were another advantage.
