"I tried to stop princess from leaving the palace but she said she will prefer to die with you instead of living with the people who curse her existence."
Raksheet breathed and his eyes soften, imagining what Ira had to face in her own house.
Ira opened her eyes, feeling a little weakness. She tried to sit up and look around. She found herself in a tent and can hear people talking outside the tent.
She thought they must be discussing about ruling Bayar after winning the war.
She sat up and thought to rest in tent for some time but when she heard the conversation carefully, her heart started hammering inside her chest and tears collected in her eyes.
"Your majesty." Vikram said, coming forward. Raksheet's eyes widened to see his condition and he went towards him and held his shoulder.
"What happened to you? These wounds? It's not from war, isn't it?" He asked worriedly.
Vikram smiled slightly to see Raksheet worrying and replied "No, it's not from war."
"Then who did this to you?"
Before Vikram can answer, Agastya and Ankush came, holding Cabail and Shreyansh. Everyone was shocked to see Cabail's clothes soaked in blood and wound on his body.
"Cabail!" Abhiveera said and ran towards him.
Ahil immediately went to bring chair for him and Shreyansh who was also severely injured, not knowing that soon he himself will think to kill him.
"What happened to you?" Abhiveera asked and gave support to Cabail.
"I am fine your majesty." Cabail said with a smile. "You got some wounds and so did I. No need to worry."
"These are from war! But how did you got these wounds?"
Ahil came back with chairs and placed it infront of Cabail and Shreyansh.
Cabail sat down on chair and when Shreyansh tried to sit, Ankush pushed him on ground, making everyone look at him in shock.
"Ankush, what are you doing?" Ahil asked and was about to help Shreyansh but stopped after hearing Ankush.
"He deserve it! He is a murderer! He killed his majesty Viraaj!"
Everyone looked at him in shock and then at Shreyansh who was lying on ground, looking at everyone in fear.
"What?" Raksheet asked.
"Yes your majesty. He killed his majesty Viraaj! He poisoned his food, drink and even his medicines." Ankush said, breathing heavily in anger and glaring at Shreyansh.
Ahil grabbed Shreyansh's collar in anger and pulled him up. Shreyansh stumbled and managed to stand up.
"How dare you?!" Ahil asked while gritting his teeths and landed a hard punch on Shreyansh's face, making his nose bleed.
"Thats not the main reason we are here your majesty." Vikram said.
Raksheet looked at him "Then what is the reason?"
Vikram looked at Agastya and Ankush and then at Raksheet again "Your majesty, the person who told him to poison his majesty Viraaj is king Dhishva."
"What?!" Raksheet asked shocked.
Vikram nod and silence fell for some moments. Ira was heartbroken after hearing it. Her own father killed her grandfather. But why?
"A-Are you sure Vikram?" Raksheet asked, not wanting to believe the news.
Vikram nod "Yes your majesty. I heard him talking to a man who supply poison to him. He said he want to kill his majesty Viraaj. And when I tried to follow him, someone kidnapped me and Cabail and....beated us." He was feeling ashamed that someone kidnapped him and even beated him.
Raksheet held his head in stress. He can't believe what he just heard. Dhishva, the man everyone trusted for Viraaj's safety without any doubt, he himself killed his father.
Abhiveera stumbled on his place but Agastya gave him support and Ashwant helped him sit on chair beside Cabail.
"Father." Ashwant said, trying to make Abhiveera come to his senses.
Abhiveera just started at the ground with wide eyes, unable to believe Dhishva can do this to his own father. Viraaj's murderer was with him all the time, without anyone knowing.
"Didn't you said that Veer is the one who poisoned his majesty?" Ashwant asked.
Ahil was shocked after getting so many shocking news one by one. Viraaj didn't died naturally, he was poisoned. And people who killed him are his own son and grandson. He can't believe that the man he thought was the best brother to his sister Ira is a murderer.
"Yes. He is also involved in this. But he didn't do anything after that incident when his father dragged him inside his chamber. Since that day, Veer didn't do anything. He didn't even entered in his majesty's chamber alone." Agastya said.
"I thought it's Veer who assigned a care taker for his majesty to keep us away from him. But it was king Dhishva." Ankush said, feeling disappointed at himself that he didn't took it seriously.
Ira stood up and barged outside the tent with eyes filled with tears and rage.
"What did you said?" She asked to Ankush.
Raksheet looked at her worriedly and held her arms "Why did you came out? You should take rest."
Ira looked at him in anger and brushed his hands away "Why didn't you told me about it?! You knew everything yet you stayed idle! You promised me you will protect my grandfather but you didn't!"
Raksheet's eyes soften to look at her condition and he tried to explain himself but she pushed him away. "Stay away from me! You knew everything! You let them kill my grandfather! You are equally responsible for his death!" She cried out loud.
Everyone was looking at her helplessly. They can't say anything as she is not wrong. They knew everything yet they let Viraaj stay with Veer. They didn't exposed him. They should have tell Ira about it.
"Princess, listen to me." Raksheet approached her but she stepped back.
"No!" She said, crying hard because her husband betrayed her. The man she trusted the most betrayed her. He hided such a big truth from her.
She took some deep breaths, controlling her emotions and made a decision. She have already decided to give the capital punishment to the person who poisoned her grandfather and she won't step back even if it's her own father and brother but before that, she have to deal with someone else. Shreyansh.
