She looked at him and asked "Do you hate Bayar?"
"A lot." He clenched his jaw to suppress his anger as he remembered how Pavan had misguided his wife and Abel is trying to rage a war against them.
"What do you exactly hate about Bayar?" She asked again hesitantly after seeing her husband trying to control his anger.
"Everything." He immediately answered. "Especially, the King."
"Do you hate the people of Bayar too?"
He was about to reply but suddenly stopped and started thinking about it. Whenever people mention Bayar, the only thing that comes in his mind is that big palace and the people that live in it. And he hate them only. Not all the people of Bayar. They are just normal people who want to live their lives peacefully with their family.
He shook his head and replied in low voice "No, I don't."
She smiled faintly and asked "You don't have any problem with the people of Bayar at all?"
He nod thoughtfully "Yes, as long as they are not the spies of Abel or Pavan, I don't have any problem with them."
"What if they are our spies?"
He looked at her confused "What do you mean?"
She snuggled more in his embrace to not let him get serious and asked "If...we have a spy in Bayar who are resident of Bayar and someday, they come back to Jwalana. Will you accept them? With whole heart?"
He breathed deeply and replied "Well, I think... Yes. They are our spies so we should accept them. If they want to come back, they are welcome."
Ira took a deep breath before asking the main question that may surprise him.
"Will you accept them...as a family?"
"What?" He immediately asked and sat still.
She was a little startled by his sudden question and tone and tried to ask. "I mean...if-IF someday, one of our family member started liking the spy or his family member like son or his daughter, will you approve them to be together?"
He looked at her with lazy eyes and tried to digest that his wife is asking him such a question and he is sure that this is not a imaginary situation. it is a real life situation and may be that family member is his own brother.
"You mean Ahil?" He asked.
Her eyes widened in shock but she managed to say "May be? Will you accept it?"
"Do you think it's that easy?" He asked and suddenly realisation hit him "Wait a minute. We were talking about Bayar. It means you are talking about the spy in Bayar. You are saying that Ahil has fallen in love with a spy in Bayar?" He looked at her in shock.
"Not a spy. The spy's daughter." She answered timidly.
"Are you serious princess?" He can't believe that such thing is happening in his life. Bayar is preparing to rage a war against them and here his brother is in love with a girl from that kingdom and his wife is asking him to approve their relationship.
She nod immediately "Yes. I am. He likes her. Her father is our spy. Brother Ahil is his master. They are loyal to us. So what's the problem?"
"Of course there is a problem. First of all, they are from Bayar. If Abel got to know that Jwalana's prince is in love with a girl of his kingdom, he will make her and Ahil's life hell. They can do anything to her and we won't be aware of it.
She is a spy's daughter. There is a big difference between us. I don't care about wealth or rich backround but we have to think about their family background. If people got to know that Ahil want to marry his slave's daughter, people might think that he is using his slave and his daughter forcefully."
He looked at her with worried look and said "I am scared, he won't be able to bear it. He is too young to face those challenges. It's easy to fall in love but it's very hard to keep it. He looks tough and brave but when it comes to loving a girl and keeping it, even the strongest man can break down. You can't even imagine the kind of difficulties he will have to face."
She held his hand and tried to pursue him "But we are with him. You are with him. We will help him. Please Raksheet, try to understand. He love her alot. We have to help him."
Raksheet held her head, thinking what to do. His brother is putting himself in big trouble and only Raksheet can help him out. Either by helping him or making him forget her.
Ira held his hand and made him look at her. "If you were in brother Ahil's place and I was the girl you liked, would you be able to forget me?"
He shook his head slowly.
"Then how can you expect him to forget his love? He was so scared to tell you about it so he asked me to do it. He didn't wanted to tell you because his lover is from Bayar. But I told him that you will help him. He trusted me. Now please don't make me break his trust."
He sighed and nod "Fine, I will talk to him. Let's see what I can do."
"But please don't scold him. And don't you dare hit him."
He pulled her closer and hugged her "As you say my wife."
"Good." Ira said.
He broke the hug and the next thing he said made Ira's heart skip a beat.
"I have talked to the healer. He said he will send a female healer to check you after two days as they are a little busy. Once she will check you, we will start your treatment. Alright?" He asked gently.
