Chapter 137 - A Happy Blacksmith

The rest of the day was a lot less eventful than how it began. They had more questions, obviously, so I had answered them as best as I could. I had even dried my eyes without anyone noticing, using a small application of my power to remove the moisture from my face. I had ended up telling them about my strange circumstances from being from another world, just not everything. The reactions were as expected, but none of them had truly considered the existence of another world before. I left out my life growing up, as I truly didn't want to talk about more heavy shit right now.

It still wasn't that late in the day, but eventually Kharie had fallen asleep against Delphia's side, the exhaustion of her entire ordeal finally catching up to her. Before anyone could do anything, Delphia stood with Kharie cradled close to her chest, the motion looking easy, as she asked Rory to show her to Kharie's room. He did so graciously, leaving us with Vikoss, who was now looking at me with something greater than simple respect. I had to hold back a sigh.

After a moment of weird silence, made a bit better by the female warmth on all sides of me, I thought of something and figured Vikoss might actually like what I had to show. Given his class, he might be able to actually do something cool with the chintin of the Spiders. I really didn't have a use for it, although I was going to save the Queen to show to Martin. I felt like he should know the kind of shit that is within that place, given how it seemed to be connected with this land's king that wasn't a king. It was still really fucking confusing to me, but I'd keeping taking all of this one day at time. I probably would have to go back to that shitty place anyways, as I'm sure there was a plethora of fucked up shit inside there.

"Hey, Vik." I said, smirking as I used his sister's nickname to get his attention. His eyes flew to mine in moments as he blinked a few times, "Are you good, man? I wanted to show you something."

He shook his head a few times, straightened his back, and cleared his throat.

"I am... well enough. My entire perspective of what is and isn't possible has been shattered, my sister almost died today, and I have someone who could kill me by blinking at me in my living room. Other than that, I am as well as I can be."

I winced a bit at that.

"Okay, yeah... that's fair." I said as I met his eyes again, "For the record, I wouldn't actually do that."

"Yeah. You don't seem like that kinda guy." He said, before he seemed to brighten, and asked, "What do you want to show me?"

"Well, I put a lot of the spiders Khaire and I killed in my storage space. Hers are more... in tact than the ones I killed, but I figured you might be able to do something with them." I said, my words making him focus on me with intense interest.

"Show me." He said simply, as he stood, and beckoned me to follow him.

"All right..." I said, slightly concerned at his sudden shift in mood.

Cici grumbled as she was forced to remove her ass from my lap, and I would admit also being a little miffed about that. I stood, my women standing with me, and we all followed Vikoss down a different hallway that we hadn't been down yet. We emerged outside, the direction seemingly being to left side of their vacation resort they called a home if you were facing it from the front. I saw two medium sized structures in this outside area, one to the left, and one to the right.

The building on the right was a simply in design, made using a combination of what looked like stone and clay, with no windows and a singular wooden door.

"That's Rory's alchemy lab. As you can tell, he likes to completely shut himself away when he's working on his stuff." He said, and then turned towards the other building.

The other building was clearly his forge, even without all of the context clues. The giant smoke stack on the top of the building being the largest clue, with open windows on the sides of the building a singluar but large front door that was currently wide open. He gestured to the right of the building.

"Drop a few of them here. Different ones, if you can." He said, and I nodded, my girls standing at full attention as they were at least interested in seeing what these things looked like, although the way Clarissa stood behind me, clutching at the back of my shirt told me she was the least interested in the giant zombie spiders. I couldn't blame her.

With a wave of my hand, I summoned the bodies, and in many cases, body parts of many drones and elites. I refrained from showing him the queen for a moment so he could parse through what I had brought with me. Just from his initial reaction, he seemed more than happy as he looked upon the pitch black armored carapaces of the creatures with awe. The women were less receptive than he was.

"Gross." Cici said, wrinkling her nose as she looked at one of the ones I had bisected.

My storage space kept things they way they were when I shoved whatever it was in there, so her response to seeing the guts hanging out of the creature, as well as the black blood dripping from it was a reasonable response.

Clarissa actually gagged, hiding her face into the back of my shirt.

"That's... so disgusting. I hate bugs, and all insectoid creatures. They just... make me feel like something is crawling on my skin." She said, a shutter running through her body. I reached back to gently pat her thigh.

"I feel you. Well... kinda. I was that way in the past, but since I came here and got my power, I'm not really freaked out by them. I don't like them, and I think they are nasty, but that's about it." I said, her hand reached down to grab mine, squeezing reassuringly.

"That makes sense." Sheila said, her nose scrunched up a bit, but looking far less bothered by the sight than the other two, "You are overpowered as fuck. I can't see anything scaring you."

I laughed, reaching over with my free hand to rub at the base of one fluffy ear. She let out a low, happy moan from my touch, and I was glad that she was getting more comfortable around us to just be herself.

"This is...." Vikoss said, turning around to look at me, eyes wide as he held a a large piece of one of the creature's natural armor in his hands, "Fucking incredible. The only thing I've ever seen that even comes close to this is the creature I used to shape my brother's greatsword. Since it was already dead when we found it at the time, none of us knew what it was, but I at least knew the value of what could be done with parts of its body."

He pointed over to several drone bodies.

"These ones are of high quality, and I can see with my class specific inspection skill that they came from A ranked creatures." He said, and then pointed over to a cluster of elites and elite body parts, "These are in the S Rank, as you've pointed out, if low in the Rank. That does not make them useless, though. An S- ranked creature is still unbelievably strong."

I just nodded along at the man as he gushed over the corpses and bloodied remains of the undead spiders, talking about the various armors and weapons he could make from them. After a moment, I cleared more space on the ground by moving a large cluster of bodies and body parts to an area to the left side of his forge. He seemed very happy that I was just giving them to him, but I told him not to think anything of it. The number of things I could realistically do with them, as well as my interest in the bodies, was somewhere between fuck and all. He could take it all and shape it, craft with it, or jack off with it for all I cared.

Once I returned to the front, I summoned the massive body of the Queen, the large body hitting the ground with a loud thud. Since the body was mostly still in tact, the only clear sign of damage was... well, the missing head with the black blood leaking out of where it had been severed. Decapitation was a pretty sure sign of damage if you asked me.

Vikoss had a much different reaction. He began vibrating visibly as he rushed towards the giant corpse with more enthusiasm than I thought the corpse of a dead... dead spider warranted. Does killing something that's already dead make it more dead, and at that point, am I even killing it? A pointless question that I really didn't truly care to have answered, but it popped into my head regardless.

"Thats... a big spider." Cici said, glancing over the Queen's entire frame, before settling on it's head, or rather, the lack there of, "Did you keep the head?"

"I did actually." I replied.

I was already reaching for it within my storage space when she spoke to me, so that made it easier. A portal opened up above my open palm, and the large and menacing head of the Queen landed directed in my palm. Clarissa squealed as she jolted against my body, caught between staying close to me for support, and wanting to run the fuck away from the severed head.

"It's fine my love. It's pretty dead." I said, using my free hand not holding the head to flick it directly between its many eyes, "See? It would have tried to melt us already with its spit if it was still alive."

"That's... not as helpful as you think it is." Clarissa muttered.

I chuckled softly as I put the head away again, turned, and leaned down to place a gentle kiss on the top of her head. Her stiff posture relax, and she leaned her head against my chest as I held her, and waited for Vikoss to finish his inspection.

"This is the most powerful thing I have ever seen. My examination skill lets me see how good materials are when it comes to my craft, and I can't even read this thing." He said, looking at me with wide eyes, "Are you keeping this one?"

I nodded as I answered him.

"For now. I want to show this to my friend in Arbigold." I said, and then I thought about it for moment a shurgged, "You can take some of the chintin though. See what you can make out of it."

His eyes lit up, and he went to do just that. Then I laughed, and approached to help him as he was not able to even scratch the surface of the creature, let alone cut away its armored carapace.

"If he doesn't want it afterwards, I'll bring the rest back and I'll let you do whatever you want with it." I said after tearing a large piece of chintin free and handing it to him, and he nodded eagerly.

"Of course, of course. I hope he does. I know I could make something really good from this. Perhaps I could make something for you. As an apology for my actions, and as thanks for all you've done."

I almost shook my head, but as I looked at the pitch black carapace in his hands, I paused to think about it a bit more. I didn't necessarily need anything, as armor and weapons for me were a bit pointless. That being said, I was still an easy to please kind of guy who liked cool aesthetics, and I couldn't help but think that this shit could make some pretty sick looking armor. The thing didn't need to be in one piece, at any rate.

"You know what? I actually don't think using more of it will matter that much. Lets take some more off. If you don't mind, I'd like to take you up on that." I said, and a big grin spilt his lips.

After I had given Vikoss the Queen's chintin, he had taken my measurements, and was currently working on something for me that he said I'd like given my taste. He said quality would take a while, and that I might have to come back at a later date, but he planned on making me a brand new set of armor that he said would look even better than what I had on now. Rory had also shown up towards the end, and started talking about glands, spider silk, and other weird alchemist shit I didn't really care about that much. They didn't say much either after a bit, getting lost in what they were doing, with Rory leaving to his own respective building, so we just left the guys to it.

We went to check on Kharie, and walked in on the sight of Kharie sleeping peacefully against Delphia's chest, who was resting against the headboard of Kharie's bed and also sleeping soundly. The sight made my women utter soft "awes" before we silently retreated back to the living room.

There wasn't particularly a whole lot to do, but this felt like a good opportunity to talk, mainly to Sheila, since my goal was the same with her as the others. I wanted to know more about her. We sat down on the couch again in the same manner as last time, although Cici made a point to grind her ass against me more sensually than earlier, making me laugh as I had to actively will myself to not get hard instantly. Once the girls all settled, and Cici stopped teasing me with her soft ass cheeks against my crotch, I turned to Sheila and spoke.

"Sheila, since we're all just sitting here, why don't we talk?" I asked her, and her ears perked up with interest as she looked at me.

"Ask me anything. I'll do my best to answer what I can. You've shared so much with me and done so much already." She said, and I smiled as I shook my head.

"Don't think about that. I want to understand you better, and that might involve asking some personal questions." I said, and then gestured to Cici and Clarissa, "I am open with them, and they are open with me. Communication, love, and trust is what makes our relationship work so well."

"How does that work? Didn't Clarissa just join you two a couple of days ago?" Sheila asked, her question genuine.

"I did, but it's complicated." Clarissa said, not at all bothered by Sheila's question, "Since Eli is unfairly sweet, I found falling for him to be... quick. I was already enamored with him from before, but our day... and night spent together helped me solidify my feelings for him. That was before I was bonded to him. Now that I am, any small worries or doubts I still had became non existent. The bond just makes everything... simpler. I love them both because I feel theirs for me constantly. It's a lot nicer of a feeling than I ever thought I'd experience."

"I see. And this bond..." Sheila asked, hesitant to ask her question.

I chuckled, and reached towards her, taking one of her calloused yet still still soft and delicate hands in my own.

"We take things at your pace, Sheila. Don't worry." I said softly, and she gave me a small smile, melting my insides once again with her beauty, and those adorable sharp canines.

"I'm sorry. I know that's not who you are." She said, smiling at me with slightly red cheeks, "I know I come across as confident, and while I definitely am confident in a fight, and with myself... with you... I just feel so nervous. It was different when you were just this strong handsome guy who saved our lives, but just getting to know you in this short time, it has made me want more than I should. Cici told me that you'd wait for me before you did anything, and after everything that has happened... I guess I decided I was done waiting."

I smiled at her, turning to cup her cheek, and leaning in for a quick kiss. Her lips were sweeter than expected. In matters of the heart, she was reserved and surprisingly delicate, and I found it very, very cute. The kiss broke a moment later, and I leaned back, staring into her gorgeous yellow eyes.

"Cici takes care of me, and for that, I'm extremely grateful." I said, my words making my kitten smile warmly at me, "Taking care of me also includes adding more lovely ladies to my life, which I have become far more receptive too as of late."

I turned to Clarissa, who was against my right side, and planted a soft kiss on the top of her head. She rubbed her face against my shoulder, nuzzling me akin to how Cici did sometimes, and I smiled warmly.

"That led me to you, my love." I told Clarissa, and she looked up at me, blue eyes shining as she stole my lips with a quick kiss, before pulling away, cheeks faintly red as she buried her face back into my shoulder, making me laugh.

"And me?" Sheila asked me, her eyes boring into mine as if she was trying to find the answer to her question before I could open my mouth.

"I was waiting for you to be ready, yes. I have been giving all of you time. As you know, and I won't lie to you, I want the same with Serena and Valerie. I care about them both too much to let them go." I replied, and that made Sheila smile knowingly at me.

"They are both pretty. Valerie is a nice girl despite everything she has been through. And Serena... is probably my best friend. The closest thing I've ever had to a sister. I love that girl more than she probably knows. I am a wolf beastkin, Eli. I grew up with knowledge that I might be a part of a pack one day. That was a notion I had given up on the older I got, but now...?" She said, her eyes filling with warmth and a bit of moisture as she smiled up at me, "I want to be a part of your pack, of this family you are building, and having the woman I see as my sister being a part of that too? It fills me with more joy than I can express."

Hearing her words solidified my already growing feelings for her deep within my chest. I truly didn't want to let this woman go, because she fit into our family perfectly. Her next words only furthered my thoughts, a grin on her face as she said, "Besides... have you seen her ass? That thing is almost criminal."

I burst into a laugh at her words, Cici joining me while Clarissa tried to hide a snicker.

"Weird thing to say about the woman call a sister." I laughed, "Although I'm going to have to agree with you on this."

Cici and Clarissa voiced their agreement as well, Clarissa now giggling her cute little sound as Sheila joined in the laughter, looking quite content with herself, and more comfortable with us. I was about to ask Sheila a bit more about herself, but the next words stopped all of us and derailed the conversation.

"What's this about my daughter's bottom?" A female voice asked from the side, her voice oddly cheery despite the question.

All of us froze, and together, all three of us craned our heads to the right, meeting Delphia's eyes and warm smile. She didn't look bothered or upset at all, but I still thought treading carefully was a good idea.

"Delphia... how was your sleep? You looked pretty comfortable, so we didn't wake you." I said, my voice steady as I spoke.

She walked closer to us, her smile not fading in the slightest.

"It was more of a nap than sleep. I wanted to keep her company. She's a very adorable sleeper, and her bed is quite comfortable." She said, stopping right in front of, "I woke up a few minutes ago, made sure she was comfortable, and came to find you all. I heard you all talking so I made my way over, and imagine my surprise at hearing the contents of your conversation."

None of us spoke for a minute, all of seemingly unsure of what to say. The small knot of tension broke when Delphia began giggling that very girlish laugh of hers, laughing so hard that she began having to wipe away tears of merth from her eyes.

"Oh, my dears. If you could see the looks on your faces." She said, taking a few deep breaths to settle down her case of the giggles, "While I won't comment on it, I am not upset. On the contrary, I am happy."

I wasn't sure how or why hearing us talking about her daughter's ass made her happy, but this world really made it hard for me to question many things in the life I now lead. This was one of those times. Thankfully, she didn't leave us with just that.

"The fact that you are looking at her like that means that you truly are considering her as a mate. Not that I was worried about that. The way you treat her and talk to her... you have no idea how much it puts my heart at ease." She said, her smile tender and kind as she looked at Sheila, who was clutching my arm tightly between her generous breasts, "Although it looks like someone else got to you first."

"I... well... yes." Sheila said, her cheeks rosey as she squished my arm tighter between her tits.

"Don't be so nervous, little wolf. I am happy for you. You deserve to be happy too, my dear." Delphia said softly.

I felt Sheila trembling against me, and when I looked down, I saw her holding back the tears that formed in her eyes, but her smile was breathtaking.

"Thank you..." Was all Sheila managed to say, before burying her face into my arm, hiding her face from the others. I brought my left arm back and gently rubbed her back.

"I know you'll took good care of her. Just like I know that you don't plan on stopping there, Elias. I can see it clearly when you look at my daughter, as well as the little dhampir. You clearly have no issues making all of your girls happy. That's all I've truly wanted for my children. Their happiness means the world to me." Delphia said, and her words caused a smile to appear on my face.

"I never expected my life to ever be like it is now, but it is. I feel like the luckiest man in the world, being surrounded by so many amazing women. I will always do my best to take care of them and their needs, and I will always strive to make them as happy as they make me."

So much love and affection poured through my bond that I thought it was going to make me dizzy, but that only further proved my point, and gave me even more confidence.

"I do want Serena, and I do want Valerie. It might sound greedy, but they are too important to me now to let them go. Thank you for not being upset." I said, and she gave me a sweet smile.

"Of course I'm not upset. You're a sweet boy, Elias, and you're one of the few men I truly believe can handle and deserves that much attention. My husband is another, but that talk never goes well. Oh but do I love that stubborn man..." She said, smiling fondly as she added, "Can you stand, Elias?"

I was confused at that, but Cici was the first to act, getting to her feet with cat like grace. I stood next, and before I could ask any further questions, Delphia engulfed me in a warm hug.

"This is from me for what you did for Kharie." She said, and all I could do was smile as I returned the hug, "I know you said you don't need thanks, but I'm giving it to you anyways. I'm kind of like you, getting so attached so quickly. I don't even want to think about what would have happened to her if you weren't there. So... thank you... for being you."

She didn't need to thank me, that was true, but this moment right here and now? I didn't want to ruin it. Moments like this always helped to remind me why I was who I was, and why I did the things I did.

"You're welcome, Delphia. I promise to always do what I can for all of you." I replied, her grip on me tightening before she released her hold, leaned back from me, and gave me a bright smile.

"I know you will, Elias. I don't doubt that. Not one bit."
