Chapter 354: After the Successful Confession
When Hikigaya Hachiman regained consciousness once again, he had moved from the hallway to the Service Club classroom. The noisy sounds of the sports field drifted in through the open window, and the sunset glowing in the room suggested that it was already after school hours.
"You're awake."
Just as Hachiman was wondering why he was in the Service Club, the sound of a book page turning reached his ears. He looked toward the window and saw Yukinoshita Yukino in her school uniform, flipping through a book by the fading light of the setting sun. Her fair neck shimmered under the light, and Hachiman, finding it a bit dazzling, involuntarily lowered his gaze.
Immediately, a pair of slender, long legs clad in black tights entered his field of vision.
"Sigh..."
A sigh escaped Yukinoshita's lips. As his perspective shifted upward, Hachiman saw her wearing an expression that clearly said, "I really can't do anything with you."
"Do you want to look that badly?"
Even though her legs were being stared at so bluntly, Yukinoshita wasn't angry in the slightest. On the contrary, to make it easier for Hachiman to appreciate the view, she even abandoned her usual habit; instead of keeping her knees together, she crossed her legs as she sat in the chair.
