Following the spatial coordinates he'd extracted from the Asura God's mind, Victor arrived at a nameless little world.
The world had been born recently, with humans still dwelling in primitive society, competing with wild beasts for survival.
Deep underground, within a pitch-black cave where you couldn't see your hand in front of your face, Xiao Wu sat curled up with her slender limbs bound by chains forged from divine power. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't break free.
"Master, where are you? Xiao Wu misses you..." she whispered, hugging her knees. Her pretty face looked haggard and uneasy, tears glistening in her eyes.
"Oh? How much did you miss me?"
A familiar voice suddenly came from behind her.
Dazzling light flooded the cave, dispelling the darkness.
Xiao Wu whirled around, her heart leaping as she finally saw the figure she'd been longing for day and night.
The chains transformed by the Asura God's divine power shattered and fell away instantly.
"Master!"
Xiao Wu couldn't hold back anymore and flew into Victor's arms.
"I knew it! I knew you wouldn't abandon Xiao Wu!"
Victor caught the girl and smiled softly. "Sorry, there was a bit of traffic on the way. Got here a little late."
That one sentence wiped away all the sadness lingering in Xiao Wu's heart, making her burst into laughter despite herself.
"No, Master. I'm just so happy you came to save me."
Victor ruffled her hair, messing it up completely. "Don't get too excited yet. When we get back, I'm having Kururu supervise your training. I don't want something like this happening again."
Xiao Wu nodded vigorously. "Yes! I won't make you worry anymore, Master!"
This experience had taught her the importance of strength. If she'd been stronger back then, she wouldn't have just been able to escape, she could've killed the Asura God herself.
"By the way, Master, how are Daming and Erming?"
Xiao Wu's expression shifted to worry. When she'd been captured, her two brothers had been beaten badly. Especially Daming, who'd been seriously injured.
"Don't worry," Victor assured her. "Those two are fine. Their injuries have already healed."
"Really? That's wonderful." Relief flooded through her.
"Let's go. Time to head back."
"Mm!"
Victor carried Xiao Wu as he flew out of the cave.
The moment they emerged, they witnessed a rather... compromising scene.
Two savages, a man and a woman, were going at it in the woods without any shame whatsoever.
Victor couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. As expected of savages, they really played it wild.
Though he supposed it made sense, given the limited conditions of primitive society.
"Master, I also want to, "
Xiao Wu pressed against his chest, her body growing restless.
Hearing this, Victor looked down at her, only to find her gazing up at him with a hint of desire in her eyes.
He understood immediately what she wanted.
Victor would never refuse a beautiful girl's request.
"Looks like I'll have to be a savage today myself... hehehe."
With that, he held Xiao Wu's slender waist and flew toward a distant cliff.
The location had singing birds and fragrant flowers, charming scenery, and most importantly, complete privacy, a perfect battlefield.
Victor set up a barrier around them and began a protracted battle with Xiao Wu.
While Victor was busy with his own affairs, on the other side of the dimensional barrier, the scene within the Clear Sky Sect painted quite a different picture.
The once number-one sect on the continent now lay littered with corpses. The ground was soaked with blood from disciples of the Clear Sky Sect who'd been killed with a single sword thrust through the throat.
Blood had dyed the entire sect crimson, transforming it into a living hell.
The only remaining leader of the Clear Sky Sect, Tang Xiao, along with three elders, were all seriously injured. They knelt on one knee, staring at the three young women opposite them with bloodshot eyes filled with hatred.
Everything before them had been done by these three.
More precisely, the real killers were the two sisters with purple hair.
"Cough... cough... Who are you?" Tang Xiao struggled to his feet, his expression grim. "Our Clear Sky Sect has never wronged you. Why are you slaughtering our entire clan?"
In his eyes, besides the hatred he couldn't conceal, there was also shock and disbelief.
These two women were very young, they didn't even look like adults, yet they possessed strength that could crush multiple Titled Douluo. Even their first martial soul, the Clear Sky Hammer they'd once been so proud of, seemed as fragile as tofu before these two sisters. It was laughable, really.
He couldn't understand when such terrifying monsters had appeared on this continent.
"There is indeed no grudge between us." Mahiru lightly touched her red lips with her index finger, a bright smile on her face.
However, in the eyes of Tang Xiao and the others, that smile was terrifying beyond measure.
"If that's the case, then why are you doing this?" demanded the third elder angrily.
"If you want to blame someone," Shinoa said calmly, "blame your Tang Hao for provoking someone he shouldn't have."
Compared to her sister who could smile while killing, Shinoa seemed particularly composed.
"Tang Hao? Damn it! Why does that bastard always cause this kind of trouble for our sect!"
Another elder was so furious he nearly died on the spot from anger.
Years ago, Tang Hao's 'murder' of the Spirit Hall's Pope had caused the entire Clear Sky Sect to be retaliated against by Spirit Hall, forcing them to close the sect and hide from the world.
Now this bastard had provoked an even more terrifying enemy, and they were the ones paying the price.
He wished he could run to Tang Hao right now and tear him apart with his bare hands.
Tang Xiao also felt anger burning in his heart, though his rage wasn't directed at his younger brother Tang Hao, but rather at the three people before him.
"Tang Hao was expelled from our sect more than ten years ago. Whatever he's done has nothing to do with us. Why are you targeting us?"
Mahiru shrugged. "That has nothing to do with us either. That lord specifically named you all for destruction."
That lord?
"Alright, sister, no point wasting time talking to them. Let's just finish this quickly."
With that, Shinoa rushed toward Tang Xiao and the others with her sword.
Mahiru followed closely behind.
"Damn it! Seventh Soul Skill: Clear Sky True Body!"
"Nine Mysteries of Clear Sky: Ring Detonation!"
"You're too slow!"
Puff, puff, puff, puff...
A few flashes of sword light, and several more corpses with unwilling expressions hit the ground.
"Looks like there's no one left alive in the Clear Sky Sect," Qian Renxue said as she walked over, unable to help but sigh inwardly.
The Clear Sky Sect that was once revered by everyone had now been massacred to extinction. It truly was tragic.
Shinoa shook her head. "No, there are two more."
Qian Renxue was taken aback. "There are still survivors? Are they hiding?"
Who would've thought there were cowards in the Clear Sky Sect?
However, that thought was quickly proven wrong.
Because the two survivors were in the dungeon of the Clear Sky Sect.
And they were two beautiful girls.
